Hi there. Just have a few questions about this mod. First, is it worse for the battery to be charged through the mod vs using a tray charger? Second, I have a 3100 mAh battery in this, and an iPhone 5 with a battery of 1440mAh. Does this mean I should be able to charge my iPhone twice with this mod? Thanks again.

It would be better to use a tray charger but I've always used the mod charger and haven't had an issue. You may be able to charge your phone twice but only if you weren't vaping
I have used the flashlight occasionaly but have never tried to charge my cell phone on it. I have only ever charged it on my computer usb port.
I love mine--ran over it with a grapple skidder and broke a CE-S clearomizer but the mod was fine. Batt will last all day which is important at -30C

I have never taken the battery out to charge mine... 15 watts seems a little dated now... but its great for the nautilus.
I'll be the first to admit that this mod is clunky and very heavy--but it is very sturdy. I work as a logger in the bush--in my work truck I've got a spinner style ego with pass thru plugged into the cigarette lighter and run a nautilis mini on that. I love it. But when I'm cruising timber laying out cut blocks I have to walk long distances in the bush--sometimes in very deep snow--The E-lvt goes in my pocket with a cheapo plastic clearomiser on top.

They have a 30 watt version now. I accidentally left the mod in the cold overnight at work (oil sands) and it hit -38°C. The next day I got it and it worked fine. Still had a charge on it. I've got a kanger subtank on it with 0.5ohm coils and I love it. Graduated from a spinner & protank to this.

I had a e-mech (also made by dovpo) which withstood a lot of abuse, so they do make decent mods. With that model I know charging the batteries in the unit they would not fully charge, so if your battery life seems short you may want to take them out to charge.
