So, I'm deciding whether or not to purchase an e-lvt mod. I have a Russian 91 on top of it right now and it actually looks great and vapes great. I like all the functions and I think it will work well for my style of vaping. My only issue is that my efest 3100 batteries seem to be too big to fit into the mod correctly. I tried some lgs that I had laying around and they fit better (still a tight fit but the cover fits nearly flush). Are efest 18650s larger in diameter? If I do end up purchasing this mod, I will most likely grind on the back plate, just enough to give the battery a little more room. What do you guys think?

Last question tonight, is it safe/good for the batteries to be charged in the device? I have a external charger that I'm using and I'm not sure if I should trust the charging feature or not. They last about a day and a half so far, so it's not really a big deal to have to change them out. Is rather preserve the life of my batteries than be lazy and just plug the device in. May be a dumb question, but I want to be sure.

Just an FYI.

If your batteries are the purple Efest 18650 2500mAh 35A batteries -- they are not 35A continuous. They are really rebranded LG18650HE2 2500mAh 20 amp continuous batteries.

Here is another warning that was posted on ECF regarding another purple Efest battery: Efest 3100mAh battery caution

My efest 3400 is too long and doesn't fit. The rest of my batteries fit good. Flat top batteries work. I have 2 e-LVT's and I love mine. My R91 looks good on the grey mod.:vapor:

They look like pretty good components in the mod. I think you should have no problem, but the e-LVT is not a true pass-through device. So I just slap another battery in mine. Also it's not good to charge a battery unattended. My e-LVT charged another battery 1/2 hour faster than my wall charger and only used 0.529V from the e-LVT battery.
