Riva 200W is powered by two 18650 batteries that are inserted through a hinged door at the bottom. The mod is made of zinc alloy and leather. I always follow with interest all the news that Dovpo offers on their site and I am very happy to have been chosen to present the NON DNA version of Riva 200 Box Mod. It is undoubtedly a rather compact and ergonomic two battery Mod which is built in sturdy zinc alloy with soft decorative leather insert on the back and partially on the sides.
The classic line defined as "arched" fits well in the palm of the hand and the Riva 200 Mod is not too heavy to carry.

The Riva 200 Box Mod chipset communicates with a 0.96-inch TFT color screen with updated user interface, rather rich in information, particularly clear and easy to consult with one hand, even in the dark and thanks to the "mode button. "which considerably simplifies the setting operations, so we can change different working modes; variable wattage, temperature control, variable voltage.

The arched form factor is well connected with soft curves that combine the wide rear section with the thinner front section. The chromatic contrast between the shiny zinc alloy and the dark imitation leather decorative insert highlights an excellent assembly of the parts, the line is pleasantly clean and free of "intrusive" writings.

► Dovpo RIVA 200 Box Mod; Battery compartment:
Riva Mod is equipped on the bottom with a sturdy door with slide opening system and safety hook made entirely of metal. Once the door is lifted we find inside it the polarity indications for the batteries, the contacts are gold-plated for optimal electrical conductivity. The two 18650 batteries fit into the mod and have no abnormal movement.

The steel cup is in an off-center position, slightly raised to avoid scratches on the surface when inserting the various tanks. The pin is spring loaded and gold plated.

On Riva Mod it is possible to install atomizers up to 28 / 29mm in diameter and without any protrusion. However on my Riva Mod I have used and continue to use my 3 Blotto RTAs (Blotto RTA, Blotto Mini RTA and Blotto single coil RTA).

► Operation Guide:
• Power On / Off: 5 clicks on the Fire button
• Press and hold the Menu button to access the menu. Scroll through the menu options with the "-" or "+" buttons. Press the Menu key
or the Fire key to confirm the settings.
• To lock / unlock the "-" and "+" keys, press and hold the "Menu Button" and the "-" button together.
• VW mode: Press "+" or "-" to adjust in increments of 0.5W from 5 to 100W and 1W at a time from 100 to 200W
• VV mode: Press "+" or "-" to adjust in 0.1V increments from 0.8V to 8.0V.
• TC mode (NI, TI, SS316) In temperature control mode, press or hold the "+" or "-" button to adjust the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
• To adjust the preheating in TC press the Menu button 3 times, the value will start flashing, you can adjust the power by pressing / holding the "+" or "_" buttons. Press the Fire button to confirm the settings
• In the submenu, “STATS” shows how many Puffs have been totaled since the last reset. There are two options to reset or to return to the main menu.
• Brightness Adjustment Go to the "BRIGHT" submenu to adjust the screen brightness.
• Standby, the screen goes blank after 15 seconds of inactivity and the device will go into sleep mode after 180 seconds. Press any button to wake the device.

• Over temperature protection: If the card temperature exceeds 75 ° C / 167 °

► Final conclusions:
The classic shape design of Riva Mod is sober and without unnecessary decorations or intrusive writings, the finishes are up to the Dovpo brand and also the overall dimensions of Riva are rather contained for being a dual battery. Riva Mod can elegantly accommodate various types of tanks more or less large (28-29mm), therefore also 24mm tanks for MTL for a long duration in your trips away from home. The multicolor display is clear and easy to read and the multifunction button is convenient to quickly navigate the menu and to choose the vaping mode that best suits the various needs of the vaper. The power range is between 5 and 200W with adjustments of 0.5W at a time between 5 and 100W and of 1W at a time from 100 to 200W. The proprietary chipset, in addition to being reactive and accurate in battery management, offers a correct and robust power delivery with any wattage set, in the sense if set to 60W they really seem to be real and without bending. The resistive values indicated on the display are always accurate and stable. Ultimately Riva Mod 200W is a good alternative to the more prestigious and expensive Riva DNA 250C which is the top of the range.

Great review! I didn't realize that the increments changed from .5 to 1w at 100. I am a lower wattage vaper and never even get close to 100w.
