id be curious to see what the whole thing looks like assembled if you get it working. It sounds like it could be a sweet looking setup
The tin foil idea kinda scares me, bur the cylinder idea sounds good if the pad does not work.Haven't had this issue in a while. When I did I used a tiny ball of tinfoil. I suppose for added safety you could roll up a ~1mm cylinder, wrap it in electrical tape and slice it, but that spacer sounds like a better solution if it fits
I put it together, but when it didn’t work, I took it apart.id be curious to see what the whole thing looks like assembled if you get it working. It sounds like it could be a sweet looking setup
Yeah. Iirc getting it to drop right in the center and then not move when I screwed it together re hired steadier hands than I've got these daysThe tin foil idea kinda scares me, bur the cylinder idea sounds good if the pad does not work.
Now to find a cylinder ?
more worried about shorting something out.Yeah. Iirc getting it to drop right in the center and then not move when I screwed it together re hired steadier hands than I've got these days
As for th cylinder, just roll up a piece of tinfoil. A gum wrapper might even work. Aluminum foil gets solid quite quickly when you crush it down
Yeah. As long as the bead has an air gap all the way around it can be done. It's not exactly safe though. As per I'd wait for those discsmore worried about shorting something out.

Maybe I don't understand the problem, but what about one of these?

So the 510 female on the mod has a center pin that is set too low, and/or the 510 male on the atomizer doesn't reach far enough to make contact? The extender fixes this. I had the same problem with one of my tanks not making contact on a Pico. Not sure what that extender does ?
The problem is when I screw the Dobpo on to the mod,
the pins on the two devices do not touch.

So, you’re telling me even though it’s for airflow, it might work for connecting a deep seated pin ?I used those 510 to 510 adapters as well until I found the air flow values Tank Airflow Controller. They work great (either or) and save the 510 threads in mods as well. The link shows they are out of stock, but wanted to just show the picture. I think someone else posted a link to them as well at another website.
That's how I use them. So, you’re telling me even though it’s for airflow, it might work for connecting a deep seated pin ?
Thanks.That's how I use them.![]()
Hope something works for you, I new you were excited to get that safe link thingy which I was glad because of your using stock coils on a mech if I remember correctly.Thanks.
That will be my next try.
