draining the life.....????????

okay so i started using my box mod with a switch from 3v to 5v.. the battery i am using is a imr 14500 600mah 3.7v ... i charge it up and some how i only get to vape around ten drops and then its gone... i then checked all connections and nothing is shorting it. so i thought it could be the battery so i then threw in a Ultra fire lc 14500 900mah 3.6 ... vape about 15 drops and there it went... i checked everything and its all good... I am clueless folks...please help with any suggestions...

Do you have a multimeter/battery tester? Do you know the ohm of the atty you are using?
Unless there is a common problem with this type of multivolt mod or the 14500 battery I dont think anyone will be able to help much.
Homemade or purchased mod?

this is a mod from my brother.. a 3.7 boost to 5...

i think he figured it out... my caps are 100uf 16v and i found the thread they were talking about how this is a problem... not enough to store power so theres constant power running...
