Finally received my DrawTube.

It's journey started in Connecticut, then went to Texas to be fitted, and finally landed on my doorstep in Eastern Canada yesterday.

It's so well built, nice heft to it, and extremely stealth in it's 18350 mode. You may call it a DrawTube, but I just like to call him "HAL".

Thanks, I did make the boat many years ago, it's a Schooner Bluenose, a symbolic boat of Eastern Canada.

WOW!!!!!!
Please post a photo of the model !!!
Are you a sailor too?
Is this the Schooner "Bluenose' from the 1930s Beken of Cowes??
I have a full size poster of it hanging in my house!

My model is a Bluenose II, the circa 1963 version that was built by the Oland brewery family then donated to the Province of Nova Scotia.

Geez, I've sailed before I could walk, lol, I currently have a 25ft MacGregor that's in the water now, not a great sailboat, but fun, it has a water ballast which is easy to transport. My real joy is a 26ft 1982 Tanzer that I'm restoring, which I hope is ready next spring. This part of Canada is great if you like sailing in fresh water and salt water, so many options within an hour or two driving distance.

Oh I envy you!! I grew up with an Island Packet 27' (first model they made) then graduated to a 35' Senator trawler, drove ships in the US Navy for a few years, got out and lived aboard the Senator with my hubby. Three children later, we are boatless in San Diego (!) and waiting for the day the last one moves out!! LOL!
My dad had a gorgeous Camano 31 he bought and sailed down from Canada. Finally had to sell it when he fell one too many times for my mom's comfort.
Tried to convince him to get a pocket cruiser, but he is out of the race and builds model ships now (working on the Constitution).
