yeah it will tie in with any number you can set it to ring your cell home ext at the same time..

if you are away it will take voice mail and to check it you can either call your number or just check your email and from there can either read it as text or listen to it online..

it is very fast to set up though either submit of a invite or ask ppl for one.. then set up a number

either give area code you want to have.. and then enter in words you would like the number to spell.. if you do not care about area code just enter in the word you want the number to spell... enter in a phone number for it to link to.. it will call you and ask you to push the 2 digits that the email they send asks for and you are set.. then just put up your voice message if you do not answer


it is nice if you keep a local area code.. because if you do not have unlimited long distance for free you can call the google number then dial out from it so you get calls for free.. i use it for my cell since i get unlimited calls to 5 numbers so i set that as one of them so i never use any of the monthly minutes..

It works good for customer service number.. at hours you do not want to answer it can be set to go right to voice mail.. from there instead of having to listen to all the messages you can open the email it is set for and just scan the emails that have been transferred to text
