dried flakey stuff on drip tips?

This is a little gross, but bear with me people. I didn't know what to search for exactly, as I'm relatively new to the forum but have been lurking for quite some time. Does anyone else get a dried, caked, flakey substance on their SS drip tips after prolonged usage? Its pretty gross, and usually comes off with warm water. Just wanted to know if this happens to everyone or if I have abnormally flakey lips or something. This happens regardless of wearing chapstick or whatever, and I usually avoid getting spit on my lips before taking a hit.

Can keep alcohol wipes on hand or something but it'd be a bit overkill imo, as hot water takes care of it quick.

I'm noticing its worse on my SS drip tips than any delrin I've used, but that could be due to a few things. One SS drip tip I have never has it, the other style does.

u got them frosted lips son... try using some selson blue on ur lips... lool jk i get that all the time regardless if its acrylic/ss/plastic drip tips, just clean them off or leave them on. the choice is yourss

I get plaque on my drip tips. you can brush it off with toothpaste. your teeth that is.
Don't be embarrassed, if your vaping its gonna happen.
It would of happened to our cig filters if they lasted more than 4 minutes.

Dead skin. How do i know? I get very small 'strips' of lip skin that I have to remove from my lips, especially when the humidity drops. I also have to clean my DTs.

Yeah, this may not be the most popular topic, but it is a vaping reality; like those annoying pimples in the most inaccessible recesses of your nose!

Happens to me also, kinda annoying but a little water and a wipe and its good to go, i make it a point to keep a partially wet napkin at my desk all day for that reason.

unfortunately yes... its not as noticeable though since its clear, but once it builds up and u scratch it its like CHRISTMAS!

Oh God. Getting nauseous, but I am glad it just doesn't happen to me! It creeps me out when I am in public. Would hate to have a stranger trying to get a closer look at my rig and there are potato chips coming off of my drip tip. Might give people the wrong idea! I wash my drip tip in every sink I come across when I am out and about!

it's like crusted saliva.
rinse it off then wipe with paper towel/q-tip
if it's really bad soak in vinegar

also I don't know if this will help but I use a lot of carmex.
and also drink a lot of water
and I have a sugar lip polish that I use to flake off dry skin.

when I was vaping high pg liquids I had cracking painful lips that got really sore.
Don't really have that problem with mostly vg juice but I still try to make sure my lips are moisturized as much as possible
