I am relatively new to vaping and refilling cartos. I have a bunch of Volt cartos that I have refilled about 7 times, but I started just refilling the same two or three over and over and left the rest unfilled for a couple of weeks. I have now started using those, and I am finding they don't seem to last too long before they start to taste burnt. Was it wrong to leave them unfilled for that long? Should I keep cartos filled all the time and not let them dry out like that?

I am guessing you should soak them awhile after filling because they have been dry but I am also very new to this so I will just give you a bump and maybe someone else will jump in.
I'm relatively new, but I get the best results by not letting them go dry. First fill I use the condom method followed by a top-off, then I top them off regularly. After each top-off, I get nice, strong drags/toots/hits, whatevers. I have gotten a lot of use out them by doing this. You don't want them to go dry.
I have tried cleaning/boiling them, but find that it does not do much and really isn't worth the hassle.
