It's wonderful as a vertical coil. Basically like rebuilding a stock coil but it has nice insulators instead of rubber ones. Going on 3rd refill the after drilling the juice holes. Still going strong.

Just got the triton the other day, then got the rta kit. I had a small leak problem the first time i filled it, but thats because i didn't allow one of the upper juice holes to breathe while the other took the juice....in turn I ended up sending some down the chimney. Either way, the rta head isn't all that great. I broke one of the set screws while tightening down one of the legs (good thing it came with spare set screws). The coil that comes pre wrapped didn't want to line up with the juice holes and stay centered properly. I then thought I could easily build a vert coil, so here I am checking the threads to see if anyone else has done it.
I got this because my STM has been leaking regularly, but I do prefer the taste, clouds, and the very simple RBA head of the STM. I do find that I go through more juice with the Triton than the STM, which is funny because my STM drinks the juice pretty well. I use Dr. Fog max VG juices (which I believe are actually only 70% or 80% VG). I may go back to my STM after all and count this as a $80 loss ($55 for the triton and $18 for the rta kit plus taxes from my local shop).
