I figured I'd save myself a headache and just post here.

Is there a drip shield that reliably works (without issues) on the io6?

I'm experiencing some leaking issues, but it's not enough for me to give these up.
I'm also not up to date with overwhelming about of accessories out there nowadays.
The DCA seems like overkill and isn't even available anyways.

Thanks.

I'm using an empire shield, with a gv sleeve. Removed the top shield oring, to improve airflow.

I added a second small oring around the connector adapter that the atty screws into, and slide the shield down onto the adapter, seating on the second oring. No leaks, though the draw is a bit tight.

Others may have better ideas, but the above works for me.

Thanks for the help.

I'm kind of bummed that I have spend a bit more to get these things to work right, but the sleeve does look great and the fact that the website is dedicated to just one product actually says a lot.

There's no way I can get away with just the sleeve and not the shield huh?
