I'm not sure what you mean by whether the iStick 50W is "up to the drip tips." The drip tip is just the part you put to your lips. It just goes onto the top of your tank. You can use pretty much any drip tip you want, as long as it fits your tank. Most are 510 size and either screw into the top of your tank or pop in using the gasket on the drip tip to hold it in place.
iStick 50 you'll be fine. I believe it handles low ohms down to 0.2ohm. That will be plenty! I like to stay around .4 - .8 ohms.
Guess I worded that wrong, although some got what I meant. I was referring to dripping rather than a sub ohm tank. Good to know the istick can handle it. It's a new addition, and like many I need to slow down on the vape spending! Thanks for the advice!

The istick50 should be enough power to fire a dripper, but keep in mind your coil build. If your gonna do a single coil then it'll be good, if you do dual coils then you may want more power down the road.
Yes, 50W is plenty for a lot of people with a dripper. RDAs are also commonly referred to as drippers.
Hi rodlovly and welcome aboard!
Just make sure that when using an RDA and building your own coils to check the build on an ohm meter before putting it on your iStick. That way, you know that the build doesn't have a short or any other problems before risking the electronics in your iStick.
Some good RDAs to start with are the IGO L or the Trident.

I really like the igo t by Ud, easy to build on, the reduced size of the chimney in steps as it gets higher/closer to your drip tip seems to really enhance flavor, it's relatively cheap (around $25) and it's made outta titanium
