So...call me crazy but i have a bunch of different tips and i have noticed that the taste and throat hit change with the tips. Has any body else noticed this?

Yep. Try cleaning them, or it's the material. I like stainless steel because it gives it a slight different temperature and feeling. Delrin tastes too much like... a Lego.
I found the aluminium drip dits seem to taste funky for me. If your tips are different lengths or center hole sizes that might explain it. I've seen posts of people saying glass tastes different to them.
Agreed, anything metal tastes like.......metal. I actually think glass tips taste the best but that's just opinion.
Not a fan of the feel of metal drip tips. Plastic, acrylic, or ceramic are ok. Best is pyrex or glass. TruStone is good, too.
If they taste funky you can wash them with vinegar and then rinse them off and soak in a bowl of lemon and water overnight....
I've definitely noticed different tastes from drip tips. I have one plastic one that tastes like cardboard and one chromed one that tastes very metallic. Anodized aluminum so far is best, but I haven't tried glass or ceramic yet.
