Drip tip length

I'm wanting to order a copper drip tip from signature tips to match my copper mod and atty, the stated length i.e. 15mm and 20mm would that be the entire length or just the part that protrudes from the atty? I did phone them but the chap who answered couldn't tell me. I'm wanting to order as close to the size of the Stringray drip tip as possible.

I checked two drip tips purchased from fasttech and the stated length was for the entire tip.
