Hey guys, I got a Volt Friday and so far have been using cartos to test e-liquid and was looking into getting a drip-tip after a suggestion from another member here.

Here's the Drip-O-Mizer and I was wondering, does this include the atomizer, or do I have to use a carto with this? If so, how would I drip using a cartomizer without the liquid "contaminating" the carto?

Im getting some new liquids soon and dont want to have 10 cartos without names on them lying around.

Thanks!

Drip-o-mizer is a cartomizer designed to be dripped into - too pricy for my taste and some people have been shocked by the metal drip tip

I use colored plastic and black delrin 510/901/KR808D-1 drip tips from LiteCigUSA.net on my Vapor4Life KR808D-1 cartos and on the Boge cartos on my 510-threaded devices (just as a mouthpiece - never to drip into since I only use cartos with defined center air channels and juice would aim right for the air channel). I remove the drip tip from the carto and the carto from the battery when I add liquid.

Ah ok. So with the drip tips from LiteCig I would still have to use a carto. What do you think would be the best solution to just test liquids without wasting a lot of cartos? Should I just clean them?

I get the 901 atomizer from LiteCig to test juices. The 901 threads compatible with the KR808D-1 battery. Drip directly onto the bridge of the atomizer (the metal mesh part you see) - 3-4 drops initially, one drop at a time to allow it to soak into the atomizer. Pop on a drip tip (any that would fit a KR808) and draw. If you get a metallic taste, the atty is too dry---add another drop or two. You'll get the hang of it. You can look on the Atomizer Issues thread for info about technique, cleaning, etc.

I had the same question. A member, ardelleg, helped me figure it out the best. Just take one of your old cartos and pull all the stuffing out with tweezers but leave the center tube in. Rinse it out with REALLY hot water and let it dry and then, using a manual battery, put a few drops (I did three) into the empty carto, put the little plastic cap back in (to keep the hot liquid from popping in your mouth) and vape away! The three drops of e-liquid was enough for me to have a few puffs and there was some left but I don't want to do less because I wanted the atomizer within the carto to be plenty wet. When you're done, rinse it out good with some more HOT water, let it dry (it doesn't take very long because there ain't no filler inside), and you can move on to the next flavor.

P.S. ----- the atty can be used over and over. I ordered three of them so I would have backups since they're inexpensive. I'm still on my first one...

Thanks, I thought there was a way for me to get a regular atomizer with an 808, but most of the ones I saw were for 501s. I think I'll be placing an order for a few!

Great idea. I already have a carto that I accidentally pulled the stuffing halfway out of, and it will be a good candidate. Thanks!
