drip tip question with mini nova

So I recently ordered the metal mini nova, since i was reading that certain juices can melt, to replace my plastic tube.

Then I realized when I got the metal tube it still has a plastic drip tip they call it delrin, my guess is will melt that tip as well?

Do I need to buy a certain type of drip tip that will fit on it? If so any recommendations on what kind to get?

My metal mini vivi has no plastic tube. Not sure what you're talking about.

Use any drip tip you want in it as well.

Won't this drip tip melt with certain juices even though the tank itself is metal?


And if so what is best drip tip not to worry about these things?

I think the tip will be ok, just vapor going thru it. No juice

Pyrex glass, ceramic, or metal (stainless steel, anodized aluminum, or titanium) would definitely be safe. Not acrylic or other plastics. Delrin I think is safe, but I'm not absolutely certain about that. It's closer in composition to polypropylene than polycarbonate or acrylic.

I don't think it will affect the tip. I opened mine up to examine it and the tip does not come into contact with the juice. On the inside of the tip there is a metal ring, and when you screw that into the tank, it mates with a rubber grommet sat on top of the atomizer assembly. I think you're good.
As for drip tips - well... I'm still buying juice and tanks / clearos, I can't obsess about tips as well! Saying that, I've seen some people mention ming drip tips but - just take a look around the forum - you can spend up to $200 on a custom tip, so be careful

ok thanks everyone for the info. I guess I want to be 100%, don't want to be vaping cinnabun and then start inhaling the plastic from the drip tip once it got too hot. I might be being over paranoid, but I had no idea there was even an issue with certain tanks until a few days ago when using my mini nova plastic and reading how juices were cracking the tanks, and I am like really?? So then I was like better to get the metal mini nova tube instead which I did.

I just want this mini nova metal to be able to use any juice I can find and now worry

To further answer your question, u can use any drip tip that would be used on a 510 or ego device most are very close to being the same, some are a bit lose some are right on, get yourself a nice aluminum or S'S tip. Mings work fine.

I think the general opinion is the drip tip doesn't come into contact with the juice - so you can use one made out of hamsters and it will be fine.
(no hamsters were harmed in the making of this post)

Pyrex drip tips are the most sanitary to use, but they aren't cheap.

Stainless steel is ok, but your front teeth might take a few good hits, lol.

Cherry Vapes makes nice acrylic dt's.....
