drip tip

I got a widemouth drip tip from super t manufacturing and i have to say im not impressed. I was very excited to get it and when i started using it all my juice got much much hotter and stronger as well. I dripped directly in then blew down softley to make sure the juice went down all the way but my juice is literally making me choke and is burning my throat. The tip is also somehow making my juice spit at me like if i hold the button down on my ego it will spit some of the juice out like almost a splatter. I tried puttin in an empty cart and now all my juice is fine i dont know what the problem is

any help would be appreciated

I have found this to be the case sometimes with the wide mouth tips too, maybe about 10% of the time, including having to blow softy to get the juice down, and a hit or two that spits in my mouth. After a hit or two, and a few swallows of water (important if juice gets in the mouth!), it vapes fine. I also have a narrow-mouth tip and this doesn't happen as often with it. The empty cart is always an option, but less so if you decide to go high voltage, as it can sometimes melt the cart!

I think the problem with the wide mouth tips come from a bubble that forms over the hole down inside, keeping the juice on top of it.
