A drip tip fits on the end of a cartomizer or cartridge and serves as a mouthpiece for the e-cigarette. In my opinion, the most important function of the drip tip is to prevent unvaporized e-liquid from entering the mouth. There are many sizes, colors, material choices and style shapes for drip tips.

Drip Tips

Oddly enough, many starter kits do not include a drip tip.

They are mouth pieces made from a variety of materials. Metal, acrylic etc... They are used to drip liquid directly on atomizers. I use them, but I don't "drip" at all. I just use them as a mouth piece on my tanks.

If you have any questions about any words I have used, let me know and I will explain all the lingo. ;)

A drip tip is awesome.

A drip tip is beautiful..... They make vaping an epic affair of lips to puffer......

Anyhoo, yzer gave a spot on answer.

(When dripping drip to to atomizer they only help so much from getting juice into mouth. On a cartomizer they absolutely do help from juice getting directly into your mouth)

I just got my first and believe me, the lip comfort and ease in filling a carto makes this a "must have"! You take the white plastic stopper out of the carto and replace it with a drip tip. No more fiddling with paper clips or what-have-you to top off your cartos, and no more liquid droplets burning your lips.

I dropped mine this morning when topping off my carto and it rolled under the frig. My first instinctive thought was "Oh no! Got to have that!"

if you use cartos, definitely get a drip tip to try, they are like $2. I prefer the aluminum, as the rubber and delrin tend to have liquid condense on them and end up in my mouth. for some reason, that doesn't happen with aluminum. a friend stated a similar issue with glass.

I don't put my teeth on it, so metal doesn't bother me, it only touches my lips.

Cherry Vapes drip tips do not fit in my Boge cartos or KR8 cartos. The hard part fits and the o-ring does not. In cartos I use the plain clear colored ones from LiteCigUSA.net (and the swirled clear color ones there fit in my KR8's and are too tight in my Boges). I use a black delrin drip tip from V4L in my KR8's. And I use Gotvapes marbled vases (look like Cherry Vapes but not as big) but the clear vases dd not fit my cartos 9they had different o-rings).

ANYWAY, the MAIN purpose of drip tips is to use on an atomizer on a sealed manual battery to test juices or vape occasional juices. That is why they are called drip tips. You drip liquid right through the wide mouthhole onto the atomizer and vape. Not recommend on auto batteries or any battery with an open hole in the middle of the threaded end of the battery.
