Hi guys, first post here. Im glad I found this very helpful and great forum. I started vaping and quit analog on new years day, and all I can say is Im doing good and couldnt made it this far without digitals, I havent touched an analog since then, and probably wont even get near one again. Hehehehe

Anyhows, I just have a small problem and maybe someone can help me out... I tried drip, clearomizers, cartos, RBA's like the genesis clones, just the cheepo ones such as the R-tech and MOV. So far I like the vapor and flavor of dripping, but the problem is the hassle of dripping every couple of puffs, especially when Im outdoors or when driving. Thats the reason I tried RBA's, but didnt have luck with mesh, silica, and cotton (by far the cotton is the closest though, but still taste burnt and have too strong flavor).

..now my question is, what would be the best set-up that will vape like the drip, but with a tank of juice. Would the expensive RBA's will make a difference?

BTW, I have a joyetech eVic and getting a provari mini really soon, just cant decide what color to get. LOL

Thanks in advance! Cheers! :)

Bought a phoenix style last night and tried it. Again, Im out of luck, I still dont get the same vapor from the drip Im using. Flavor is harsh on the throat just like the other RBA's I have. (MOV genesis style, smoketech R-tank, and a vivi nova)

Oh my, I guess I will be stuck with the regular DCT and drip im using ;(

I wish I have co-op access so i can just dump these for cheap, instead of just collecting dust on my desk...

I'm dripping on an IGO-L RBA and love it. It's small, looks lovely on a ProVari and vapes like a champ. Where this interests you is that it has quite a large drip well, holds maybe 20 drops of liquid to cut down on the drip frequency while still giving that unbeatable dripping flavor. Picked it up from myvaporstore.com for a song; great service from these guys as always.

+1 on the bottom feeder! The "Reo" seems to be the crowned king, but I have a Vapage Vmod XL and think it's wonderful (and it's about half the cost). With it's large 18650 battery, I could use it for 2 full days without recharging (I still swap the battery every morning), and with a 9ml juice capacity, I could go about 3-5 days without refilling it (though I change flavors at least once every day or 2). You can still use it for dripping if you just want to taste juice, otherwise just tilt and/or squeeze and you're good to go! It's the most maintenance free and least hassle device I've found. LOVE it!!!!

Once you have enough posts you can get verified for the classifieds forum and sell off what your not using.
I'm a compulsive vapor buyer and I thank god for the classifieds or my wife would kill me :)

is it easy to change flavours with?
I'm using an IGO-L with an all SS 400 mesh wick, no cotton or silica. To change flavors I take the RBA off of my PV, rinse it in hot tap water, blow it dry, remount it and dry burn it to get the residual water out.
Works great! < 5 minute flavor change.

Thanks again for the informative tips guys.

Anyways, just to update this thread. I got myself a provari and a cobra. Im still fiddling with the RBA, and still cant get the vape right - still hurt my throat, but I got around with the hotspots now and no more error codes on my pv.

Cheers!

I finally got it to work without any problems. It turns out that it doesnt wick properly thats why Im getting the harsh hit on my throat. All I was missing was the "genesis tilt method". LOL :)

Now all I need to do is make the air hole a tad bit bigger, and work on my method of making a wick/coil to have more vapor.
