Considering I don't vape anything but rebuildable devices on my provari I would say the "useless" statement is probabley a little uninformed. Like everyone else I vape around 1.5 ohms which seams to be the sweat spot for my kayfuns and between 1.8 and 2 ohms on my Term Cs.
I use a 2.0 ohm coil on my two AGA-T2's on my Provari's. Never saw the need for anything lower, as I prefer a cooler vape. I actually prefer these on the Provari's than my mechanical Silver Bullet.
Hmm. So lots of people have them on their provari but I'm still trying to decide if I get a provari or a mechanical. Some people were telling me having a RBA on a provari is useless. I have an ego twist. Should I go provari?
Definitely go Provari, built in protection and ohm meter make it ideal for rebuildables down to 1.3 ohms I believe. I built a 1.5 ohm coil with 3 wraps of 34 gauge Kanthal (want to try different gauge to try and get more coils on the wick). Drilled out the air hole on the RSST to 1.2mm and it is a vapor machine!
