Hello everyone,

I just recently picked p an iStick and am liking it but want to put a different rda on it. I am currently using an old cyclone style dripper at around 1.3 ohms. It's a nice set up but there is a pretty noticeable gap and I can only put a few drops of juice in so it doesn't last very long. I've been thinking about getting the igo f (I believe that is the right one) that holds about a 1 ml of juice but wanted to see what others are using for the iStick. I would put one of my other large drippers on it but the atomizer hanging off of the edge bothers me more than a gap.

Thanks everyone

I just got a Plume Veil that I am running on my IStick. I quickly discovered that a single coil build works better than a dual coil for using on the IStick, but now that I have it somewhat figured out it is working great! It was easy to build and wick either way, if you want to see pics find my post in this forum called "I did it".

Igo-w4 with a single 28 gauge, 1.4 ohm microcoil works and looks good.

Thank god i am not the only one trying to use a RDA on the istick. Im new to rda's and building coils. Just picked up a memphisto rda. Had my local shop build the coil. They did dual coil with 32 kanthal. Not really thrilled with the taste and that it takes a while to fire up. I guess I will try to get 28 kanthal and build a single coil. Any recommendations how many wraps? Just want to get great taste and fair amount of smoke. Thanks with any help you can give.

I've done a couple of builds in the Igo for the Istick, both single coil and around 1.4 Ohms.

2mm, 28 gauge, 8 wraps
2mm, 30 gauge, 6 wraps

With the air hole drilled out to 3mm, it hits really nice with a surprising amount of vapor at maximum wattage.

If you already have 32, try twisting it, or do parallel wraps (fold the wire and wrap both at once, wraps touching tight as possible). It's been awhile so I forget how many wraps but I'm thinking 10 should get you to where your istick will fire it. If you do pick up some 28, try 8 wraps on the little blue handled screwdriver if you have one or a 1/16th drill bit.

I'd suggest poking around in the coil build sub forum a little and if you have any questions post them there. Bunch of coil building fanatics hang out there lol. :vapor:

Mini Yaeliq dripper's perfect on an iStick. It's a touch pricier and ya hafta wait a bit for it to get to you, but it's an awesome dripper for moderate power levels. It's a single coil with the airflow coming from under the coil, so you'll have no problem building above the iStick's one ohm lower limit. The chamber's small enough to keep flavor on point and it's basically enclosed, so no leaking barring overdripping. Definitely my favorite teensy rda. Check it out.

As well, the Igo-S and Igo-L are both small enough not to have overlap and are intended for single coil builds, and the Atomic's plenty skinny enough to look good on it and can be built in single mode (clones're cheap, too, if that's a concern).
