Have several questions on dripping....
I purchased 306 atty with my spinner. After removing the bridge and finally getting the setting on my spinner correct, I was amazed at the flavor, vapor and TH from this little guy. It was so good. So much better than cartos and tanks previously used. I tried a 501 atty with similar results.
A few weeks ago I purchased a rebuildable A6 atty, it's similar to an IGO-L. My thinking was that I could save money rebuilding and that the flavor would be similar. I'm using 32g a kenthal and 2mm silica. Finally, I was able to build a 1.5ohm wick but to my surprise the flavor is not the same. Each pull feels very dry and cottony but not like a dry hit. I don't get the burnt super dry taste. Maybe I need more practice building wicks?
Why do coil only attys like the 501 and 306 have much better flavor?
Is the silica wick withholding most of the flavor?
Thanks for your help!
