Hello again!

I seem to have a problem w/trying various flavors no matter *what* I do! I'm not really diggin' this vaping thing so far, but I'm very hopeful that once I get the right liquid I might be able to quit smoking for good. Here in lies the problem: I cant seem to get the previous flavor out after I've vaped a particular flavor. I've tried doing it in my Evod, an iClear 16, a Kanger T-3, and finally, after becoming frustrated w/those, I got a drip tip atomizer.

I thought menthol would be too overpowering since I cant ever seem to get rid of that flavor on any of the other clearos. First juice (RWVapors Creamy Espresso) was amazing, taste *just* like an espresso. Then I tried to put in Cotton candy (technically called 'Pure" by the same company) and it sorta tasted a little bit like cotton candy going in, but the exhale was, u guessed it, espresso. I used abt 3-4 drops on each, if that matters.

:grr: I'm frustrated, I really want to find something I like asap, my husband hasnt smoked in days and I dont wanna tempt him. Well, that and I just want to quit, period. I don't want to waste any of these flavors either. Please ... someone help.

How does one vape a liquid that isnt really something you put in for taste? Just draw it up but dont inhale?

Thats what I'm using. The only way it fits on my drip tip is if I take the black thing off, so I hope thats what Im supposed to do. Felt fine like that so I'm thinking thats probably the right way? Whats the difference in atomizers? Does one work better for changing flavours?

Hmm, I didnt think coffee would be one of those "lingerers"

You confused me just now, why would I need a seperate drip tip for different flavours? I thought it was merely a mouthpiece and had no effect on the taste/functionality/etc. Atomizers I can definitely see having a few rotating. BTW, I have no idea how long they last.

he was trying to say "rotate dripping atomizers" like you surmised :)

I know I dripped some Shamrock (halo's chocolate mint) a bit early, and I had to rinse since the mint would not leave. Most times with my RDA, once one flavor dries out, it's pretty much evaporated. Except the Shamrock last night. Still getting used to the RDA and trying out all of my flavors.

like Jefsview said..on an RDA you dry burn them. i usually just hold the button for a few seconds and blow on it or i take a lighter to it and let it burn off the juice. But when you go to add your juice you will need to give it a good soak if not it'll taste burnt.
I had to do that last night when i went from a thick creamy juice to a light fruity one.

Well I feel like an idiot for not thinking to clean out my mouthpieces before automatically assuming the flavor wouldnt leave, lol. Unfortunately, that still isnt the problem. Ive soaked them in water & let them dry, still flavor lingering. Ive soaked in alcohol ... still lingering. I am starting to really believe that the only time Ill ever get to REALLY taste anything is if I buy an all new clearomizer for each flavor. So I have 14 flavors, one more coming today, so thats 15 clearomizers! Ive found a site that has the EVODS, the only thing I seem to be able to get to function, for $3 a piece. So thats $45 just to TEST some liquids? Ouch. I have replacement parts to get and all kinds of other things.

Anyone know where I can find bulk packs of clearos (preferably Evods), or bulk drip-tip atomizers? Is there any way that I can maybe buy replacement heads for some of these? Would THAT alone get the taste out?

I've noticed that even tho Ive let the DT Atomiser/mouthpiece in a soak overnight, that 4 drops of liquid doesnt seem to produce any flavor/vapor, u think I ruined it?? Maybe I ruined ALL of them? I dunno anymore.

I don't think I saw what kind of battery you're using...if it's some type that has eGo threading, you could do something like this...8 re-usable atomizers for $16.
It would be crazy to buy so many eVods, and spend that kind of money

$15.26 EGO-T Electronic Cigarette Flat Mouth Atomizer (8-Pack / 0.5mL) 8-pack - grey + red + pink + brown + blue + black + silver + white / 3.1

If you're using something that doesn't have eGo threading, these would also work...they hold 15 drops or so, it's what I use for testing

Are you soaking the atty? A drip tip normally just needs a slight flushing with some water. It's the atty that might need the good soak. Once you rinse off the atty after the soaking and then let it dry out you may need to put in 7 or 8 drops of liquid to get it to vape right again.

I always use the dripping attys for testing juices. I won't put them in a clearo until I've decided that they taste good enough for a clearo. I have 3 510 attys and 4 RDAs just for testing. I think I don't have but a dozen or so clearos though.

Fasttech is where I've ended up since I posted, Ive actually found one better than the ego 8 pack, theres actually a 10-pack of CE4's for $12. There's also a 10-pack of Evods for $22. Im guessing at these prices itll be coming from (oh, lemme take a wild guess here)... China?? (super short page wont load, but Ill do a google search, thanks for the advice). I wasnt aware that the DT atomisers were that much more costly? There's so few parts involved and it doesnt (seem to) work as hard.

I dont know if the problems I am having are MY own fault, or if the flavor is just so bad that it ruins it, or if I just dont LIKE anything but an Evod. I have NO experience with a clearo that isnt an Evod that was a good one. So is it the liquid, the clearo, something else?? As for soaking the atty, I already thought of that, I added like around 7-8 drops and waited for it to wick ... very little vapor, very little flavor, in fact Im wondering if all these have the same exact flavor because I keep doing the same wrong move every time. But maaan, with the amount of research Ive done at thus point ... I cant see how I'm not able to build a million of them from scratch and sell them to make millions.

So you guys are thinking I might just be one of those people that HAS to have a new one for each flavor? At this point, its so bad I cant see ANYONE putting up with it. I know you will all tell me to be patient but I'm not sure if u remember what an emergency it was to not have any cigarettes. When this can of tobacco is gone, I will not be buying more. I never thought I'd have to at this point and I'm almost out of time.

Further searching has lead me to CE4s for around $1.08 a piece, from China. Havent found drip tip atomizers yet, in fact I dont even know if the atomizer needs to specifically say *drip tip* atomiser.

Maybe a no-wick clearo would be better for switching??

Nobody answered my question abt it being easier/cheaper to replace only the coil heads?
