I decided to give dripping a try, and got my first drip tip in the mail today. I thought I was doing it correctly, but obviously not. What a mess! I dripped in 3 drops of juice, vaped a few times, and got juice leaking from the atty-batt connection and a little bit from the drip tip-atty connection. What am I doing wrong?

If you dripped 3 drops into an already saturated atty, seepage to the atty/batty connection would be normal. Seepage out the tip/atty connection I'm not sure about (were you holding the PV upside down?)

It takes a little time to get the knack of when your atty needs a refill (hint: it's also normal to have a box of tissue nearby until you do).

You don't have to worry about killing the Riva; the battery is sealed (I'd have killed mine a long time ago if it were possible). The Riva would be better to use at this point, actually, because the cone will contain the spills.

Something does seem wrong, though. Have you tried a different atty?

I usually drip 3 drops when I am doing a normal refill, and about 5 drops when I am filling up a completely cleaned or blown out atomizer.

If you blew out the atomizer, and then dripped only 3 drops and it leaked at the battery/atomzier connection, something is wrong.
I have never gotten any of the leaking you are getting at any time .

As for the drip tip/atomizer connection, I wonder if you have it connected right.
I went for about a day before I realized mine was not pushed all the way on.

The little gasket/ring thingie should not be visible anymore once the drip tip is snapped into place.
I originally put mine on so the gasket/ring thingie was resting on the atomizer.
