I'm considering trying the drip method, but not sure if it is practical for the work day. You kind of have to carry the liquid with you, and prepare the vape before enjoying the fine taste of what it offers. Does this prep, every time you vape, get annoying? Do you find it to be second nature, and not a nuisance at all?

Or is dripping more of a "at home, or chilling out" method? Maybe the clearomizers are the way to go for the work day?

Any veteran input would be appreciated.

i drip at work.... get yourself a little zippercase that is made to hold liquid and put it on your keychain...
the thing that i have always been concerned about is clearos and suchleaking....
that is just me though
Now THAT is a good idea.

Maybe I'll give it a try next week. Clearomizers; well, at least what I have, seem to lose the taste a bit after the first few puffs. I want that Gandalf taste all the way up all the time though.

Thx for the input.

I'm not sure about dripping as I do not have any experience doing that but as for the clearo's leaking, yes...all the time. I vape on nothing but clearo's and they leaked all the time in my pocket. I also do a lot of bending and walking at my job and it just leaked everywhere in my pocket. So for the rest of the day I kept smelling coffee and I took it out and it actually came apart in my pocket. Very annoying to say the least.
Now i do not carry it on my at work haha.

Figured i'd respond with that anyways :)

Hmmmm.....you pose an interesting question. For me, there is NO other way to vape. Yeah, sure you'll see all types of new-fangled devices and juice delivery systems, and I've tried my fare share of them, but for me and my taste/hit first purposes, dripping is the best. Of course you have to get the right attys and all that, but I drip.

Now, for your question, "is it viable at work?" That can be tough, but I don't exactly see dripping as problematic if you are allowed to vape. If you are at a desk, then of course it will be fine. If you have to be on your feet all day, then that could be a bit of a hassle. If you want the flavor of dripping but not so much of the frequency of dripping look into bottom feeders or drip shields (allows you to drip more and requires less frequent drips).

If I know I'm going to be on the move a lot dripping is ok. I just keep a small bottle in my pocket and drip when I need it and I don't have to worry about anything leaking Usually when I do that I carry a higher mg juice because i don't get to vape as often. If I know I'm going to be at my desk I fill a couple clearos in the morning and use them through out the day.

Depends on what kind of "work" you do.If its more mental and sitting behind a desk maybe..... but not with anything thats physical or that requires most of your concentration.

Doesnt have to be that hard, save the dripping for home when you can enjoy it and the rest of the time get a carto tank or a Vivi Nova.

I'm rather enjoying my A7 dripping rebuildable. I haven't put another device on my mod since I got it.

Something else you can look into is the Ucan from Innokin. Basically a metal, refillable bottly with a pump on the back. Drips or squirts depending on how hard you push it.

I really want to grab one, but I haven't seen it at my usual vendors yet and I'm not motivated enough to search too hard for it (I hate making small purchases online and having to pay the shipping).

i work at a factory that is dusty, and a 12 hour shift.... so i keep my battery in my pocket, and i keep my atty with my drip tip and 2 small bottles of juice in that zipper thingie, don't have a link to it, won it from atomic vapors (purple gorilla is awesome btw).
Also, just an fyi i vape with the smokers and sometimes stealth while on the potty.

I try to only vape at work on normal "smoke breaks" so yeah, i drip at work all the time. That said, I like to use clearos at when out and about or doing housework, drip at my desk.
This is where I'm leaning right now. I'm at my desk maybe 10% of my work day. The rest is mostly "out and about" in the facility. I was kind of hoping for a way to drip while walking around... and it's really quite do-able; but not sure it trumps the clearo for the situation. I mean, when I'm busy working, I'm not necessarily concerned about the taste as much as I would be during down time.

The bottom feeding units might be a great compromise though. I think I'll pick one up as soon as I can find a decent one from a reputable vendor.

Most of the "talk of the town" for bottom feeders is going to lead you to the Reo line of mods. They'll run you around $150 (give or take some, depending on the model). Or you can pick up a blemished unit for around $115.

Also, there's the VMod for $75-$100 (stand alone vs kit pricing).

I only drip. No problem at all at work. Mostly do it at my desk, but I also do it on the run. Carrying a small 6mm bottle in your pocket is a whole lot less hassle than carrying the device itself. And of course the device is easier and more pocket friendly with just an atomizer on it than it would be with any clearo or tank.
As far as the actual dripping, I find it takes about the same amount of time or effort to pop the drip tip off, open the bottle and drop a couple of drops in, as it does to light a cigarette.

Really, when you smoke cigs, you aren't always running around with a lit cigarette, you pretty much smoke on some schedule or once an hour or whatever. So I am learning to think of vaping the same way. Just because it's there, doesn't mean I have to use it every second. When I would normally have a cigarette, I just have a vape instead, and it's very easy to drip 2 or 3 drops in and vape away.

Try it, but make sure you have a well made atomizer such as the HH.357. I first tired dripping on a chinese atomizer. Scared me for a few weeks, then looked into a HH.357, tried it, and tossed all my tanks. Now all I do is drip at work. And to be homest, it saves a lot of liquid. Tanks had a tendency to eat up all my juices, not to mention it's never consistent (flooding, leaking, wicking issues, etc.)
