Hello ECF'ers! I, like im sure many other new vapers, have been trying out all sorts of different things while I'm still getting my feet wet. I was given a drip tip with my latest order (eGo PT, LOVING IT!) and have finally started dripping. At first I didn't get all the fuss, but now I havent touched my carts/cartos since last Thursday or Friday. I must say I have been loving dripping since I got the hang of it (took a whole 30 minutes maybe )

I got to thinking, is dripping more efficient in terms of using up juice? I mean with the carts I was always wiping off the inside of the cart every couple fills (at least a few drops of waste each time) and cartos seems to loose their capacity to hold juice after a while. And you can never really vape anything 100% dry (OCD makes it really hard to resist trying though!)

So do you think dripping is a more efficient use of your juice? Seems like my bottle of Halo Freedom is just as full as it was 3 days ago:p

Less efficient for me. If I put in three drops every couple of puffs it's more than I use with the cartos I use and with Ikenvapes fusion cartomizers and the affects are the same. Plus I read about all the people leaking juice into batteries and recessed areas to catch the excess and I don't have that either. But it comes back to preference.

I buy my attys from Rocky Mountain Vapor since they seem to last. 3-1/2 months of constant use so far. The only issue was that the wicking fibers started to burn (my fault most likely) so I removed them from 1 atty. Still a little burnt taste so I removed the bridge as well and dry burned until there was no more smoke.

That is when I became a dripper. I love it.

It's a little warmer hit, but the flavor/vapor is fantastic and the atty is still performing great.
I haven't noticed any loss of juice dripping except 1 time (DON'T DRIP AND DRIVE!!!)

I do believe it is more efficient. An assorted array of drip tips are on the way!

Like I said, I've only really been dripping for the weekend and today. So far no messes. I stick to 3 drops at a time and vape til the taste gets funny. I just cant seem to get my groove with carts or cartos. I love the ease of the cartos, but they almost seem to muffle the hit. I was really irritated when I filled up one of my V4L cartos(after I cleaned it using hot water) and it turned out to be dead, a whole carto of juice in the trash ugh.

15+ puffs seems crazy to me! I seem to get about 6-8 good drags (I like the long deep drags with a slow satisfying exhale that engulfs me in a cloud of vapor!) before the burned nasty taste rears its ugly head. Maybe it just means its time to clean my atty!

I tried a LR atty but the 3 different flavors I tried in it just taste like they are burning. I dunno if I am doing it wrong or only certain flavors jive with the LR or not. I am also concerned with the talks of them killing batteries. I only used it on my eGo battery, but some people have said that even eGo style batts can be killed by a LR atty.

I am very interested in trying to de-wick and de-bridge an atty. I am, however, very nervous to try. Does it really make a big difference?

I've been using LR510's from XtremeVaping for several months on 6-7 eGo batteries, 600mah & 900mah (Mega's). Haven't had a premature death battery yet. Doesn't mean they won't, though.
Some juice doesn't go well with LR's, so just experiment.

I've ruined a couple of perfectly good atties debridging them, but the one that was successful vapes like a Pittsburgh steel mill. Very easy on the vapor flow too, almost too easy. Good one to blow smoke rings with.

I'll tell what others told me early on and now I'm a convert, the LR306 is one bad mamajama dripping machine. I got mine at VaporFlow.com for $20 (2-LR306 atties & 1-306 drip tip). They beat the 510 to a pulp IMO. More vape, TH AND flavor.

I get about 10 good puffs, after that it not so good but after the 17th it definitely taste metal'ish.

I don't really like the flavors when use LR atty either and battery definitely doesn't last as long (ego 650)

Yeah I ve tried reg 510 attys and LR 510s dripping both on an ego and an Omega. I tried cartos, carts but to me they waste too much juice and i lose the flavor about as often as I do when i drip so for me dripping is better.

I tried dewicking/debridging I have to say that's so much work and you can be almost sure your going to break some while learning how to do it. The results were pretty good, the did produce more but I don't think it's worth it. I really want to try these LR 306's but only if they are Ciscos.

Personally from what I have experienced Ego can produce very close if not better than lots of 3.7 volt devices because in essence the only difference is about .4 volts at best, not that it doesn't matter, it does but it seems to me that the effect of the cone makes up for it. Now if someone would make a mod that utilized a cone or something that covers the atty to harden the draw a bit and get that vapor a bit hotter I would be a very happy man. Problem with the eGo just like with any pen style is battery life especially when you start using LR attys on them.

Usually if no matter what you do you taste burnt then most likely you burnt your wick a bit, that's why people are loving the de wicking and debridging. If you got lots of spare attys and don't mind possibly breaking a few if you mess up there are plenty of how to videos and guides. It's not too hard. It just wasn't life changing for me as it was for others.

Also anyone getting 15 drags off of 3 drops is: taking really short pulls, Big ... drops and flooding the atty, a combination of both. I guess i might be able to get like 12 or more but they taste like .... after 10 and not great after about 7. It's all trial and error, that's my personal experience.

I didn't think I'd like dripping until I actually tried it. Even though I don't have a drip tip, I really enjoy it. I've learned how to de-bridge and de-wick attys, so now I'm seriously considering a drip tip and a VaporMate attachment for my eGo.

u must vape......look into my eyes....u r geting......................sleepy........when u finish reading this u well do nothing but drip (with a drip tip) and love it like myself........................................

I tried dripping on a normal 510 atty, and was disappointed as it didn't seem any better than a cart.
Then I got brave and debridged and dewicked a 510 and the difference is remarkable. It was simple
and actually easy using a pair of tweezers (long with sharp points) and a pair of needle-nose pliers.
I'm not cordinated enough to even try dripping and driving, (my carts will have to do) but when at
home it's my perferred method.

3 drips before I got in the car this morning! It was basically my morning cig on the way to work. I work at a desk job so super easy to drip and vape when no one is looking (boss said he doesnt mind as long as there are no customers around). I'm going to have to try de-bridging, but I think I am going to order a couple more atomizers before I try in case I fail miserably. Any suggestions for top of the line 510 atomizers with dripping in mind as the primary method?
