Hi all.

Well I wanted to try to get in on the dripping craze
that all the cool kids are doing. I am using a
KR-808 manual and I got a few 901 atty's and a
T-tip for dripping. What I am finding is that most of
the juice seem to just drain out of the little hole
out the side. Every once in a while I get a good
hit but mostly I Find that I am wasting good juice
"down the drain".

Is there something I am missing? Is there a way to
minimize this from happening? Perhaps there is a
more suitable atty for dripping?

I only drip, as I find that no matter what cart/carto material you are using imparts a flavor and/or harshness to the vape. But, I only have limited experience with the 901. The only 901 I use is in my Screwdriver MkII, but I will say that the flavor comes through greater than a 510, imo. One thing you are running into, I assume, is the 'one hole' on the 901, where the juice leaks out. I typically try to make sure that hole is pointing toward the sky when I vape, but I do have a bottom button on the SD, which makes it easy to rotate the device however it needs for the 901 hole to be on top. But generally, I don't have a problem with juice leaking out, even if I don't rotate the device. I stick with the '3 drops max' rule of the 510s and don't see any juice coming out of the hole on a 901. Question for you: how many drops are you putting in the atty at a time? I ask because coming from a KR808, some people have thought they could drip 20+ drops in at a time, and, yeah, any atty will leak/flood/bust with that much.

Hope that helped, and happy vaping!!

I also use the KR808D-1 battery/901 atomizer combo when I drip. I don't have a drip tip yet, so I just use a 901 cart without the filler as my tip.

So far, using the 3 drop max rule, I haven't had any leakage problems.

Burto1945, that "hole to the sky" tip is great... Thanks.

No, you wouldn't the leakage issue with the cart. The 901 atty has a tiny hole
for air-flow thats beneath the heating element. You'll see when u get one.

Not all bottles drip the same size drops. Lower to no more than 2. First, get a napkin and put the threaded end towards the napkin and blow hard through the mouth end (with cart removed). Remove as much e-liquid as you can. Sounds to me you have just really flooded it. Sometimes it is good to let it sit a moment after a couple puffs before puffing again. It could be you have not used up the liquid in the atty and you are putting more in before it is time, due to lack of vapor.
It takes a week or so to get used to dripping. You'll get the hang of it soon.

Are you making sure you're dripping directly on the bridge?

Get that nozzle down in there. Lower. ;) Until you can barely see inside it. It should be almost touching the bridge.

Now drip.

A tiny bit may run down the sides. Just roll it around a little bit, and it should absorb.

When I do it this way, I don't get leaking.

At the moment, I'm tail piping it - I have a drip tip coming in, so I don't know if that will guide the drops as effectively - I'm hoping so.

P.S. Also using a 901 atty on a Kr8 batt.
