dripping or cartomizers??

For me, I've found flavor to be better when I drip. I have debridged/dewicked my 510 atty and found this has made a massive improvement. This also allows me to change flavors fairly quickly on the same atty without having to boil. Try searching for phee303's debridging vid on YouTube.

You could increase vapor by adding more VG to your juice, but it can sacrifice a little flavor and throat hit.

Dripping is probably better then most cartos, but it is not easy to do consistently. You run low, and eat burnt atomizer. Get a rythum for topping it off, but then you flood it. If your PV doesn't have a juice resevoir, flooding will run down the unit into the switch. There are top feeders out there that help, or bottom feeders if you like to drip but want to reduce the hassle.

The new dual coil cartomizers are dang close to dripping when you put some voltage through them. 5+ volts through these little 1.5 baddies are fantastic.

I'm currently using an eGo with 'standard' 510 attys, or 510 cartomizers. Alternating between the two. I like the carts because you don't have to fill as often! We travel quite frequently by car, and I do a lot of the driving, so dripping really isn't possible then.
I've only used hot water to clean my attys, so I need a bit of help with the alcohol soaking. I'm assuming that I rinse them well with water before dry burning?? I'd really like to get them as clean as possible between uses.
Any help and/or advice is so greatly appreciated! =)

Dripping provides more vapor and flavor. Keep in mind, though, that the heavy vapor comes from the vapor being more saturated with juice. The more saturation of juice, the more condensation in your mouth. With the result being more juice in your stomach. A year and a half ago my vaping landed me in the hospital with stomach problems. Now that I'm wary of it, I'm very careful not to choose an ecig/juice combo that will cause me problems again.

Also, there aren't a lot of juices out there that have good enough flavor to want more of them anyway.

I like vaping thick juices in my eGo-T because I can't get them pumped into a carto.

I recommend buying both types :)

Easy answer? Both. When I'm at home I drip certain flavors that aren't in my ego case. Fruity, sweet, or very strong flavors get dripped. Tobacco, lighter fruits, or wintergreen flavors go in a carto or giantomizer.

With stronger flavors or strong nic content dripping helps me ration the vaping because you have to re-drip as soon as you dry out your atty.

Ce2 cartos have fantastic flavor and they hold enough juice to keep me satisfied on the go. I use cartos for my all-day vapes. I drip for "dessert"

I tried dripping exactly once. For me, it was nowhere near being worth the hassle. I didn't notice any real difference in taste, but it was only a few weeks into my vaping experience, and my taste buds had not recovered completely from my decades of smoking.

For cleaning cartos, I bought a battery connector (threaded end fits the carto, other end is meant to be pressed into the tube holding the battery) and attached it to the end of a 15ml syringe, so I can pump iso alcohol through it. A couple of syringe fulls from a bowl to flush it out and then sucking in perfectly clean alcohol, checking to see that it's still perfectly clear when it comes out.

Sadly, there no good way to attach the connector -- I reamed out the Luer lock threads, widened the tube as much as possible with the blunt end of a larger drill bit, heated the connector, and melted it into the tube. It looks like it was done by a drunken monkey, and I won't be surprised if/when it comes out. But until that happens, it's been working like a champ.

It's really preference... I hate cartomizers. For me, they never give me enough throat hit... they taste funny and they are messy, inconsistent and inefficient... especially the new ones...
Dripping is easier for me.

The easiest thing in the world for me is using a reo mod...

its not so much which is better but the supplier you buy them from. i use both but i find with ikenvape you can never go wrong. as said i also love his gold v2 cartos. and i am a dripper at heart but i only have to carry one bottle with me if not that then just a spare carto or 2. i drip in public. heck who am i kidding i do it all and really just love both sides.

its the equipment that makes most of the difference.... ive had great tasting juice turn to crap on different atomizers and juice i didnt care for turn out vapable. honesltly i reserve my cartos for flavors i know i love. so that way i dont waste one. atties are for testing flavors, getting to know them and when my cartos are soaking.

CE2s are very personal opionion some people love them but for me they just dont work i have had nothing but wicking issues. thats where dripping shines you drip and vape till its out. no worry about wicking and such.
but thats my 2 cents

If you haven't tried this and you have any CE2s still lying around, try taking out the plugs including the one around the ceramic coil holder, pop on a drip tip and drip away. Works well for me and they last pretty decent, are easy to clean and so on.

Are there any key differences in the design of the v2 golds and boge 510 cartos?

im on a carto hunt and wondering the same. from the sounds of it, people do like the v2 golds over a reg boge carto. now...do they deliver more Th and/or vapor? i would like to know an honest opinion on it. i think when people buy new stuff, its easy to say it produces more flavor/th and vapor just because they bought a certain product. im also wondering if you get more refills from a v2 gold vs boge carto. if the resistance is the same on both, i dont know why it would give more th or vapor.....maybe more refills before you toss it?

Dripping is definitely better unless you are using a tank type of carto. This type eliminates the filler and delivers superb flavor.

Depends on the juce and e-cig setup. I find the normal 510 battery, a genuine joye 510 carto and 36 mg Dekang Camel to be a great combo. Long lasting throat hit. And because of the lower power of the battery, it's less likely to get juice in your mouth. Plus it looks really good in white.

I'd highly recommend it to the ladies who don't want something that looks like a cigar.

I also vape an eGo-T with LR atty, which is definitely the best for most of the other juices I have tried.

Dave
