The penstyles/801 are huge atty's and depending on the bridge itself, they can be more drip friendly than others. The bridge itself is down a ways in the atomizer, but you can get those drips to hit the bridge with some practice

Also you can use pipettes to drip with a little more ease in those hard to reach atty's.

batteries are the only "safe" way to go with dripping. I used to drip on my 306/mini fogger atty without any issues on an automatic battery, but I imagine it was only a matter of time before an accident happened.
Just make sure you keep the
threads on the battery cleaned if they do happen to get some
juice down in there, for best conductivity.
