So I have been dripping for a few days and now all my protanks just don't seem to completely satisfy me, flavor isn't as pronounced, not as much th, not nearly the vapor production! I do rebuild my PT2s with cotton and micro coils and I find myself only using them when I need to keep my vapor production to a minimum or at night next to my bed (I vape every time I wake up). Does anyone else find this to be true? Or is it new toy syndrome? Already looking for my next mech and rda! Currently using a chi-triot and brass origin clone. Any input on nice
Clone mechs and good RDAs is welcome!

Yep, sorry to say you're ruined for the rest of your vaping life! I still use a carto or aspire vivi nova every now and again, but dripping is the ADV.

You're not alone. I love my Protanks, but they're collecting dust thanks to the Chitriot. The Chitriot gives a more intense flavor, but even more than that, it's easier and more fun to deal with. Coils are easy. Wicks are easy. There are a zillion permutations of coil/wick arrangements which can change the quality of the vape. No leaking, never a gurgle, no burnt taste, no uncapping to fill, easy to switch flavors, no need for an airflow controller, and the thing is a tiny ss tank with very few parts. Other than the orings (gotta get extras), not much can go wrong.

I've got original o-rings on my IGO-L, which I purchased 8+ months ago, and until about 2 weeks ago used almost exclusively, all day every day. If you don't abuse them, even the o-rings will last a long time!

I have no idea why this is, but I tried dripping and didn't find it much better than my protanks and Kayfuns...in fact, I find dripping more troublesome...gotta make sure the set up is correct, gotta drip some more on the cotton or whatever, gotta make sure it's not too much or it floods, gotta make sure it's not too little or it burns, and constantly re-dripping...phew...troblesome
Protank or kayfun, coil it, check ohm, fill up, forget about it for a day or 2, then refill and forget about it again and in about 2 weeks rinse with alcohol, dryburn....aaaaaannnnddd good for another 2 weeks

Yay! ty :) I'll get some extras, anyway, just to have them around. Will probably get an IGO-L, Nimbus, or W3 as backup. atm I only have the Chitriot, and a single mech (m16), which live in my hand and purse. If they get lost, I'll cry.

The IGO-L is a great atty, but if I were you I'd pick up a W instead. Just gives you more options. I bought my L way before the W was even available, and have one of each. They're both wonderful atties, but if I had to choose one or the other, I'd take the W. Also, don't order from FT, as my buddy did. His W showed up with no post holes, which makes dual coils VERY difficult, especially with lower gauge wire.

I find it just depends on the device . . out of what I've used:

Kayfun lite + has the best flavor - hands down.
Trident clone has very good flavor and most vapor - hands down.

Cyclone clone has very good flavor and decent vapor.
Evod w/cotton microcoil has very good flavor and decent vapor.
IGO-L and IGO-W have very muted flavor and very good vapor production.

My cisco spec atties have good flavor and OK vapor production

All of the above are better than a stock protank with the exception that a stock protank beats IGO-L or W for flavor to me. I just get no flavor from either of those devices. Lots of vapor - but no flavor.
