Now that I ordered my first SLB KGO, I really want to start testing which flavors I like. Dripping with an atty seems like the fastest way to taste a flavor, instead of committing a full load to a carto. If I am correct in my assumption would BetterLife 510 3-Hole Dripping Atomizers or HH.357 Long Barrel Hybrid 510 Atomizer be better for a drip only taste tester? The price is pretty hefty on the HH. 357, is it really that superior?

Will they be ok with my starter setup? I saw a warning for a few different batteries at the end of the HH. 357 website, but the 510 seemed to be its intended usage.

Hope my abbreviations are getting better, trying to remember all the lingo

Thanks guys

If you never have dripped I would say just stick to a regular or LR 510 atty. You are correct in that its easier when trying multiple flavors to just drip instead of filling a full carto, plus cleaning an atty is much easier when going from flavor to flavor. The HH.357 is worth the money (I own 2 because I like them that much) but wouldn't jump right into that, its def geared towards someone who will drip on a regular basis, if you feel thats what you would do most of the time then I would say to take it into consideration. The HH.357 is a 510 connection and can be used on the KGO or any other device that has or utilizes a 510 threaded connection, or you could use an adapter if need be as well.

Hope this helps:)

EDIT: Dripping will give you better flavor and thats why a lot of people like to drip, so when trying new flavors you will experience that flavor at its best, essentially :D

If you've never dripped before, as said earlier blow out all the primer (if you get an atty that comes primed). Drip in 4-6 drops and let soak in for 30 secs or so and then add 2-3 drops. I usually do a dry hit to see if there's a littlest gurgle. If not add one drop try again. If so take a great big yummy hit. Pay attention for the drop in flavor as that's the signal to ad 2-3 more drops.

When switching flavors you have a couple options 1) just drip the next flavor (they'll mix in the atty and you'll get some weird combos) 2) pick up some Atty Flavor Eraser (couple drops clears the previous flavor with out need to re-prime) 3) I've been using Pure Glycerin USP $5/6oz at CVS (couple drip it till the last flavor goes away, no reprime necessary) 4) clean your atty between flavors (completely blow it out, rinse with warm water, blow out again, pain in the ... and does need re-prime)

There was a pretty good deal on 2xCisco 306 + Delrin 306 drip tip ($19.99). I picked up a couple and love the way they taste. At 1.8ohm, they hit really nice on either my 3.7v fat batts.

This is (mostly) what I'm using all the time now, though I'm rotating a pair of these with two from IkenVape: a 510 1.8 Ohm, & an io6 1.5 Ohm. I've used these IkenVapes for over 4 months & both still work great; ordered Ciscos because IVape was outta stock. I see he's back in stock now & highly recommend the io6 design. It's a somewhat fatter modification of the 306 and I love it! If they're still in stock when my circumstances permit I *will* try a couple of them in 1.8 Ohm for my 3.7 volt E-Power. They can be found here: Atomizers - io6 Series - IkenVape Store BTW, these days all I'm using is dripping attys & drip tips, & finding it no more hassle than lighting a cigarette.

Disclaimer: I have not tried the HH357 and hope to do that soon as well, though the darn things cost over half what my E-Power *KIT* did. Fact is, I don't have a whole lot to compare the IkenVapes with, but both the io6 and 510 have far surpassed my wildest expectations for performance & longevity. The Cisco attys are working pretty well & I haven't had them very long, but at this point I don't believe they're in the same league with the IkenVape attys. Price-wise there's little difference but be advised, the io6 atty uses a slightly larger drip tip than the Cisco 306. (I don't know if 306s are of universal diameter or not; IkenVape also has 306 atomizers & lists dimensions on the site.)

Hope this helps. Best of luck, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Well, cleaning and flushing my atty seems to have helped a lot. The flavor is much better than my first attempt, with just hints of the nastiness remaining, stronger when the atty is heading towards dry.

I'm not convinced yet about the flavor hypothesis, (more trials ahead!) but it sure does look like it's going to make trying flavors easier. And whoa! This thing makes clouds! Same ohms as my cartotankocombo or whatever we call it, buy way more vapor. Hmm.

The atties I use to test my juices are the atties that came with our KGOs. I have a hh357 and Its great for dripping. I also have the 306 which I couldn't get a decent vape because of the primer taste. I cleaned it several times which has helped but I still taste the primer. I'll have to give it another try this weekend.
