I'm looking for suggestions, ideas, pics, of the best cotton wick setup for dripping through the drip tip. I don't want to wear out the orings on my Patriot and it's a pain to pull off the cap each time, and found a few large well drip tips at fasttech that I'm waiting for. Here's my current setup. I tend to pull the wick through the posts and under the opposing coil to keep the wick as close the center portion as possible. Any ideas? Thx.

Can't you just take the drip tip off instead of pulling the whole cap off? I drip on an IGO-W, same principle, and just take the drip tip off and drip right down the middle. Never had any problem with saturation that way. :)

Yeah, that would basically be the same as dripping through the tip. I'm looking for the best setup to get the juice to the coils from dripping through the center, vs. dripping directly on the coils with the cap off. Trying to minimize juice sitting in the well and leaking out. Sounds like so far it doesn't matter as the cotton does a good job of wicking.

I can overload my IGO-W without it leaking unless I REALLY overdo it. The cotton will do a good job of wicking, just drip through the hole where the drip tip goes and it's all good. :) I have a Patriot clone coming, I guess we'll see if it's any different in the leaking department.

That's what I have, the clone. It only leaks when I set it on it's side, my holes in the cap are 1/8.:toast:

Orings are EXTREMELY cheap (about 10c each). I've been vaping my IGO-L for almost a year, every single day. I usually pull the top cap off to fill it (harder on the atty o-rings than it would be for a drip tip, as the edges are much sharper). I reckon I pull the top cap off and put it back about 100 times a day. 100 times a day over the course of 10 months is about 30,000 times.

I'm still using the original o-rings.

When they finally DO fail, I'm going to spend the 20 cents and buy new ones.

So basically, I wouldn't worry about it.
