Well, I have been at this for some time now (a few months maybe?) and have tried every method from Cartomizers to Carts to Dripping and have come up with some solid research on these...
1. Carts. I started out with these and they seemed to leak and I constantly ended up filling them up, and I am convinced that a great deal of the juice just goes to waste as the snow cone thing always needs to be refilled. Juice in the mouth was common, and these will get gunked up over time and make it hard (if not impossible) to "ungunk."
2. Cartomizers. I *thought* these were the greatest things in the world, but juice in the mouth was also common as you have to be scientific in the proportions of juice you use to fill. These also have a short life span (meaning they get gunked up and are hard to pull vapor out of after a while). I am not sure if there is an "easy" method to fixing this, but I haven't found one yet (tried boiling, blowing through it, etc). Don't even think about not completely vaping the cart as the left over crap will solidify and hasten the death of your cartomizer.
3. Dripping. This is where I ended up. I don't have a "drip tip" or any kind of special equipment. When I bought my ego, it came with some carts that didn't have any filling in them. I found this odd, but I now find this invaluable for dripping. Basically, I take the atty, drip 4 drips into it (or until there's a puddle around the heating element), put the empty cart back on, and vape. You *can* get juice in the mouth, but I find this only happens when it's dark and you're not paying attention and flood the atty with a stupid amount of juice. It should be noted that this method seems to maximize the flavor from your juices as well. I have also found that the atty I am using has seemed to last forever (I haven't had to change the one I'm using since I started this method)... So there's got to be a downside, right? Yep... You go through a ton of juice in short periods of time, and the juice will only last about 30 mins max.
I'm no expert, and I only have one vapor device, so I can't be considered a vapophile, but I've been through the ringer trying to find the right vaping method, so maybe this will help someone else.
