drip ecigs vs filling the cart

well im starting to wonder if some models are designed more for filling the cart vs some designed for dripping. like my janty mini fogger aka joye 306. it seems to never work well if i fill the cart, it just produces a burnt metal flavor, im always dripping with it. then i have my 510, and since the atty isnt exposed, it seems to work better by filling the cart. am i just doing something wrong, or is this common?

All i have right now is my 510 and i have dripped since day 1.

To me dripping gives the best experience by far... I spent my first month or two filling carts and trying cart mods etc etc and when I finally started dripping I was shocked at how much more satisfying it was than cartridge vaping.

Everyone should drip, all the time.

these responses are what i figured. after burning out several 306 attys trying to use cartridges, i switched to dripping. now i can keep an atty going for months. granted i still will need to replace this one at some point, its been going for too long and its got all sorts of flavors stuck in it. i dont bother cleaning attys except blowing out excess liquid since ive had a large failure rate.
