RDA dripping without rebuilding?

I would like to be able to drip to try new flavors, but I'm a single parent and don't really have the time to be messing with coils and don't know anything about ohms law and all that. I was curious is there a dripping atomizer that i wouldn't have to rebuild coils with? maybe it would just come with some cheap replaceable coils? or is there as good reason that i haven't been able to find one? Sorry if its a newbish question but I'm a newbish member so what do you expect?!

I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything like that, am i missing something or is there just no such thing?

same issue here with the kids.
i use drippers at home and the coils on my mutation x dripper will last a week or more. just remove wick, dry run and put new cotton.
i will re wick (quick and easy) every 3-4 days or when changing juices that are very different. if juices are from same flavor "family" i will even re use same wicks.
definitely manageable.
alternatively a kanger tank with replaceable heads will be faster.
but even on my kayfun v4 i can re-use the coils and just replace the cotton

You want something like this: 510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Black - 2.8ohm the original "dripping" atomizer. They're disposable, but if you take care of them I've heard they can last anywhere from 1-12 weeks.

there's something called a 510 dripper; it's like a carto. it's what people used to drip with in earlier days.


but with a regular dripper it's not like you have to keep recoiling every day week or month; one coil will last a long time depending on the wire thickness; I got my first rba/rdas almost 6 months ago, and I haven't changed any of the coils; just the wicks.

the magma is super easy to coil and to wick

and if you happen to have a vape shop in your area you could just ask them to coil/wick it for you.

You just have to change the wick; as was said.

I originally used a bridgeless atomizer, but it has its own flavor affects. Since I don't use one for normal vaping, like I do with an RDA/RTA, I have pretty much discontinued it.

I generally use a Magma.

There's a few things to use.

In non rebuildable options you would be looking for 510 or 306 atomizers. The two types are built differently and people have preferences for one over the other. They both fit 510 threaded devices though. For either type you can just toss them in some simmering water to clean or soak them overnight in cheap vodka. Alternatively, you could just buy premade coils.

A local shop in my area makes coils en masse, they're $1 each, .5 - 3 ohm (or they'll make you a custom, just have to ask), and wicked in silica or cotton, your choice. They keep little buckets of them under the counter. Just pop it in, double check the ohm, and go.

Another shop, closer to me, will make a coil and wick setup on the spot if you ask (for tips). You just bring your rig, tell them what you need and they build. Just tip them and don't expect it fast if you come during rush.

Or you could buy them here...

Ok so I (will) have a spinner 2 mini 850 mah. If I got something like a igo-L will I be generally safe as long as I build coils at 1.8 ohm?

Yep, nothing under 1.5- 1.8. 1.8 TO BE SAFE.

Yes; use 30 or 32 gauge kanthal;
I've got a 2.7 ohm 30 gauge right now vaping at 10 watts on a veritas 30mm rda

the igo-l like many other drippers uses a post in the center.

the magma does not have a post in the center, they separate the posts to the two sides, and that makes it easy to put the coil in and line it up over the airhole.

Thanks Rickajho!!!! I have finally found someone who understands me.......The Ocelot. I started dripping with my first e-cig in 2011 and STILL use 510 atomizers.......like the prices much better these days as most people moved on. I am loving that blog!

Premade coils would be the best bet.

I have kids as well. Keep all my vape stuff in a locked toolbox. Only takes me about 5 minutes to whip up a couple new coils for my rig, and they last me quite awhile. Started out I was changing them every few days, but now that I've got it down I rarely recoil. The ones I'm running in my dark horse are dual 24ga kanthal coming in at .6 ohms and vaping at 76 watts on my sigelei 100+. Had those in there about a month now. Dry burn, rinse, and reuse. Lol.

You don't need any of these big dripper rebuildables.
Just buy some 1.5 ohm 510 atomizers (bridgeless) if you like , but not necessary.
Buy a couple like 3 or 4 and you can soak them in vodka after your done testing a particular juice.
Then take it out of vodka, and let it dry overnight...will be good to go for more taste testing.

this will work fine.....but i hope at least you have some power to push it......say an istick 20 w....since this is 2.0 ohms.

well i went all in and got an mvp3, an igo-L, and some pre built 1 ohm coils. I stayed around 4-5 volts for the most part, anymore i got burnt hits more often, any less was just, well less.

Loved it! wow, i guess you really dont know what your missing until you drip. Warm vape, great flavor, lots of clouds! I mostly used nicoticket wakonda 6mg, delicious!

If you are getting dry hits or burnt taste keep playing with your wicking method. Try putting more cotton and try using less. You should be able to take a few long pulls with the power up before you have to redrip. Search superXdrifter on this site, his vids are great on coil building and wicking. It took me a while to get it down pat. You're right bout not knowing what you're missing until you try it. Be warned, there's no going back(for me at least), I still have and carry a tank but only cause I have to. Dripping is the truth!

ok the only problem I'm having now is that the resistance keeps dropping. I started with 1ohms and over the past two days its steadily been dropping and is now at .6 ohm which i think is the near the very bottom limit, i think .4 is the lowest it will fire. Whats up? is this normal?
