dripping taste better mostly because there is no filler used so it has nothing in them to filter the flavor and clog up,unfortunately there a pain to keep up with too,few drops=few vapes, its constant maintenance and myself i have to clean them a lot or i start to get a burnt up juice flavor pretty fast, tanks are just easier for all day vaping and have improved alot sense the early days of vaping and really dont effect taste as much as they used to.

I use dripping to test my juices. I believe dripping was the first vaping device, then moved to tanks.

I use a Octopus RDA

+1 when I started to vape I bought the gas station kits and carto's. I then went to tanks. When I started to mix, I found filling a tank to taste the juice was a PIA, used a lot of juice, and much more work cleaning. also, when mixing a new flavor I could be tasting 5 to 10 mixes which I did not have that many tanks. On this site someone talk about dripping to taste what you mix. This made great use of the gas station kits carto's where I drip the juice into the threaded end.

All I did was remove the cap and wading on the carto and drip 3-4 drops on the threaded side of the Carto's

But how do you use a drip tip when dripping??

Dripping is something I like doing at home to test juices and so forth.

You can get some simple dripping attys for about 10-15 bucks tip included from cherryvapers or vapors can't remember and they work pretty well. It's not an expensive investment and a great way to see if it will work for you at least as far as attys go.

Hope this helps,
Pancake

I went from gas station cartos to clearo tanks... then I started dripping on atties and it was AMAZING.

Then I got into RBA tanks and those were even better then dripping, but now it's all over that I've found RDA's (rebuildable dripping atties)...

Currently vaping a igo-l at 1 ohm and I got a nimbus and a bully RBA at home

Have a drip set up that i never really use.I don't have time to do it.i like the fill and go method.
What are you kidding me? Dripping is so easy...remove the tip, drop 2-3 drops and vape away... Best vape around...
I hate when juice gets spit back into my mouth.
I use the HH357's... long barrels... The added length is just enough to keep juice from sucking up into the drip tip...

I started out dripping and I like to try a new flavor that way, but recently I've converted to a Vivi tank and I really prefer that.

I hate when juice gets spit back into my mouth.

Hanna, maker of the HH-357 atomizer, did a video a while back about fitting an old atty bridge inside the drip tip to prevent that. It's works well, I've done it to all my drip tips.

Like I said no need for that with the long barrel versions.... I recently sent 4 new HH's back to Hanna and he replaced the standard barrels with the long barrels... at no charge:)

The first ecigs used cartridges with filler material, wicking from the filler was always an issue. Different filler materials and dripping were the first evolutions of the delivery system. Bottom feeding evolved from dripping, or the desire to duplicate the experience without dripping all day, then cartomizers came and replaced cartridges. Then cartos went into tanks, bottom feeding kind of lead us into various tank systems, how can we store lots of liquid inside our PVs. People still use 510 and 306 atomizers without cartridges for dripping, among others. Then there's RBAs, there is one designed after every former concept and then some. I dripped a 510 all the way up to this year when I found RBAs, I mainly use rebuildable drippers and an A7-oid, which is a Spheroid copy and ironically is probably more like those first cartridge attys than anything. Full circle :)

Dripping is easy, but not as "mobile" as tanks. Best thing to do is get a good Rebuildable Dripper (many types < $15), watch some videos (hundreds on YouTube) and experiment for yourself. You will be glad you did!

I dont understand that "not as mobile as tanks"? I carry a 3ml bottle when I go out, fits right in the watch pocket of my jeans... A 510 atty has such a nice small form factor when compared to a tank/RBA setup... And the HH's hit just as good...

I never considered carrying a bottle and dripping before every vape any more difficult that keeping track of a lighter and sparking up a smoke. If you ask me, the mess cleaning and upkeep of a tank system is a bigger hassle, not to mention punching and priming cartos.

    Thats what im talking about:thumb:

I usually use a RDA in the evening, when I am relaxing at home. I'll take an RDA with me, as an extra device, when I go hiking. Nothing like sitting at the top of Redrock Canyon and vaping with a RDA, while enjoying the view.

To me, a RDA is liken to a tobacco pipe. For myself, there's a certain elegance vaping with a dripper.
