Dripping attys

These are two most popular attys for when new vapers give dripping a try. They are easy to use and inexpensive:

A 510 atty looks like this and takes a 510 drip tip:

A 306 has the same components as a 510, but doesn't have a jacket (tube) going up the outside so you see the bridge and the wick. It has a 510 battery connection, but due to the slimmer body needs a different sized drip tip.

The 306 drip tip fits on the outside of the body, like the “Cannon” from Cherry Vape. When using a 306 drip tip do not force it down onto the atty! The tip isn’t designed to go all the way down and if forced can be damaged causing it to leak – I know, I broke two of them

I have a dripping blog you might find helpful: Drip, Drip, Drip…

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...

Note about bridgeless:

When someone refers to an atty being "bridgeless" or "de-bridged," the mesh bridge and often the wick ("dewicked') have been removed, leaving only the coil and the reservoir. The method of dripping with a bridgeless atty is basically the same as a regular atty, but you have to be fast. You are dripping directly onto the coil - think of dripping water onto the coil of an electric stove. Instant sizzle. The pro with using a bridgeless atty is more intense flavor; the cons are there is no mesh to hold the liquid, so you have to drip more often and (in my experience YMMV) it’s easier to get a dry hit.

Basically anything Ocelot says is GOLD. She knows her stuff about dripping. A 306 setup I have never used but may try. Any suggestions? :D

They are LR and have a warm vape that some people don't like. They are also very short (that's why I like the long Cannon tip). The first time I tried dripping I was all alone - I hadn't found ecf and I didn't know any other vapers. I got a bridgeless LR306, because a woman whose video I saw on youtube recommended it and she had been right about everything else up to that point. So we have: clueless newbie, a very short bridgeless atty, the short little tip it came with... - OM*G! I had never seen a hot coil before!! No way I was going to put that thing near my mouth!!! It took me awhile to get over the trauma.

Very true, but IMO for a beginner, theres no wick to burn up, and get that burnt taste that they cant get rid of because the wicks fried... True about dripping more frequently but again IMO they are sweet, pure flavor, warm cape, and awesome vapor. Plus if your looking to switch flavors, rinse it out, shake it out, and drip something new, don't have to wit till the filler and wick gets dry... But to each their own, all IMO...... :toast: And I've never had a dry hit until it needs a few more drops.. 5 drops will get you 7-8 good lung hits before needing more...
