It's not that you "Cant" drip, its just that with drippers you usually go sub ohm to get maximum performance.

You can drip without a problem, just your zmax wont allow you to build sub ohm. So you would either have to build 2 2.4Ohm coils to get 1.2Ohms (Which will have a long fire up time) or a single coil above 1.2 Ohms.

I don't see why they would say you aren't able to drip with the zmax. I'm sure it does have a lower limit to where it doesn't fire since it does have some regulation with the chip in it....But as long as you're getting a drip top that threads into your connection, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to build a 1.5-1.8 ohm coil and just vape on

Yes - of course you can - Lots to choose from - my personal favorite that I learned on is IGO-L - easy single coil - lots of room (relatively speaking) and I use it daily. My favorite build with the IGO-L is micro coil, 28 gauge Kanthal, 11 wraps, 1.5 ohms, cotton yarn/cotton - ala Rip trippers method on youtube. I use this setup on my MVP 2 at 8 watts - for my juice it is great.

IMHO no need to go sub 1 ohm: 1.5 - 1.8 ohms single can provide a lovely vape flavor and plenty of vapor.

Kayfun lite - great tank system - RTA

Both of these are available via Fasttech.

I was just about to say that, A kayfun is great (I own one) and you can find a decent clone for about $30 (I got an EHPRO and its worked wonders).

I would recommend a RBA for a regulated mod, something like a kayfun.

Where should I start looking to find a RDA that will work on my Zmax. I really want to drip just because of the amount of vapor production and everybody tells me how much of a better taste it is

You wont be able to get lots of vapor production due to your zmax not allowing you to sub ohm. A Kayfun delivers the same amount of flavor as a dripper, but in a tank.

If you still want a dripper, anything with 510 threading should work. As of which kind, its just based upon what you think "Looks Cooler", they are all just about the same, the vapor production is based on your COIL, WICKING AND AIRFLOW, not the dripper its self

You can have the "Crème de la Crème" of all drippers, but get no vapor production if you don’t have a good coil.

So essentially I could have a Dripper made of Solid Gold and Hand-Crafted in Paris by a RDA MASTER and someone with a $10 IGO can blow bigger clouds than me

You wont get Massive Clouds just because you have a dripper

What mod should I get to have the full potential of dripping. I am not looking to spend a lot on it as I will only drip at the house. As for the kayfun. Is there a lot of vapor and it says it is rebuildable. What does that mean as far as getting extra parts for it

You can get a Mechanical and sub ohm, but you will need an OHM meter and kanthal wire. Since a mechanical will literally "Fire anything", you have to make sure you don't have any shorts.

You also need the right batteries, I recommend the Sony VTC4, Since they have a 30A continuous draw.

On a kayfun what rebuildable means essentially "You have to build your own coils", but you also have to make your own coils on a dripper

RBA- Rebuildable Atomizer
RDA- Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer

You can find kanthal on ebay for about $7 for 100 feet (Which lasts forever)

I know that it varies when coils need changing and stuff but what is the average time before I would have have to rebuild on the kayfun as well and make new one on the RDA. If I was to use my Zmax with an igo-L than will I still get the same experience if it was on a non regulated mod.

Go get a dripper find one that you like and screws onto your zmax and if you like looks good, get that... build your coils above the min ohm on the zmax and go with it... then if you like it and you enjoy it start looking into mechanical mods and go from there but start with your zmax, it will work as long as its in the "ok" ohm range. Just realize that there is more available to you on the mechanical side of things, but just take your time with it.

But if your dead set on mechanical and dripping to get that set up... go get a k101 I've heard great things about em, or i recently got a hcigar nenmy clone from a friend and its awesome... a dripper, at least 2 sony vtc4 (vct4) i forget which is which... an ohm reader a dripper, and lower nic juice than your used too... and rebuilding supplies kanthal cotton etc....

But id try a dripper on your regulated first and see if its for you

SOME people go sub ohm. I do not. I am perfectly happy in the 1.2-1.7 ohm range dripping. In my range I can run the RDA on pretty much any of my regulated devices

Get a dripper, 30 gauge kanthal cotton and a 1/16th drill bit. If memory serves me right 10 or 12 wraps tight n close should give you over 1.3 ohms... I'm pretty sure, measure your coils every time... set the coil close to the airhole... pulse it and squeeze with tweezers to make it heat evenly from the center... then wick with cotton, remember less is more... drip and enjoy... you should have a good experience, there will be opportunity for more vapor but... its a good initial start to see if its something you'll like.

You can drip with a Zmax. They just wanted you to buy something else.

Many who use RDAs use them with mechs so they can sub ohm. You won't be able to sub ohm with a Zmax. But you could easily use it with something like a Kayfun & get great performance out of that rba.

If you wish to go lower ohms you would want to get a device without regulation (mech) so it will not give you an error when you try to fire a low ohm build.
