Dripping

So i have been gaping for about a year now and have a decent idea as to what I'm doing. I currently use an itatze vv with an aspire atty. what I've found is that the more i search the web about the latest vaping news the more i hear about "dripping". I love the idea mainly because of the clouds you can get out of a single puff, but i am still lost as to how to get started. thoughts and comments would be much appreciated.

I have not built my own RDA yet, so I can't give you any stellar advice. I took the cheaters way of trying this out by asking my local B&M to build the coils for me. It gave me a chance to see if I liked it without investing a lot of time into learning how to do it myself. You probably will enjoy it like I did and want to learn how to do it yourself.

Scatch me too..those boys are so nice down at the "Romper Room" and it was like $3 soooooo but they showed me how, it's not much different.

What I will say is don't get a "mini dripper" mine's so tiny, no cloud and we couldnt get the coils over 1.0ohm

so trading and getting a real one, here next. But it DID make the juice just absolutely yummier than before (Alice in Vapeland's Mangrila)

Dripping is awesome. I'm so glad I bought a Mech and an RDA. As for advice, any well-made mech mod will do fine for the job. The Nemesis is a quality mod that thousands have come to love. In terms of an RDA, I would recommend a Tobh, Magma, or Stillare. I own all three and love them all. They each provide lots of airflow. The last thing you need is a good battery. The Sony VTC4/5 are both great and will work for any build.

Building coils is also a lot easier than you think. Youtube is the best resource in terms of learning how to build. I hope this helps! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Im sure others will chime in, but if you google coil calculator you will find sites that help you figure out out.

My .02, to really get into dripping you need a mechanical mod. Also some quality batteries and venture into the world of sub ohm coils. Additionally you are going to want less nic in your juices. Most prefer 6mg nic juices when sub ohming. The reason is the higher temps vaporize the nicotine better.

My advice would be to get something like an hcigar nemesis, with some good 18650 batteries (efest or sony vtc4s) .. Get some 26 or 28 gauge kanthal wire. Also get an ohm meter.

that's some basics.. Hope it helps

thanks for the help! do you have a good forum for wrapping coils?

Right here Andrew

Rebuildable Atomizer Systems

Read the threads, learn and enjoy.
I keep my dripping sooper simple. I use an Igo-L with micro-coils kept at around 2 ohms and cotton for wick.

Learned all I could ever need from the Rebuildable Atomizer System forum.

Make sure you do adequate research before your attempt to build on a mech. Building a coil setup that draws too many amps on the wrong battery could be bad. Familiarize yourself with wattage, voltage, amperage, resistance, and how batteries voltage change before trying to sub-ohm.
In reality, it is not that hard to build a coil, took me 30 minutes get a good build my first time. Most of my initial failure was due to using too much cotton, you generally need much less than you think. There are many good step by step tutorials available with a Google search The Igo L was a very good starting point for me before moving up to multi coil RDAs.
