What do I need to be able to drip? I'd like to be able to drip when I get a new order of juice but I don't understand how it's done other than putting juice directly onto the wick. Looking for advice on the set up. I currently have ego-t, 808, mvp2.0 batteries but I'd prefer to have the set up for the mvp.

Coil type?
Drip tip?
Do I need a new wick everytime?

And I think I'm missing a piece but I'm not sure what.

Thank you

What do you have so far? You really only need a dripping atomizer to drip (and a power source of course) whether it's a mech mod, vv/vw mod. I'd recommend a vv/vw instead of a mech at this point.

Coil type - depends what you're looking for. Do you have a local vape shop you can go to to get some direction (or have them build you some coils).
Drip tip - this is just the mouth piece on any ecig really.
New wick - no, not everytime. I change my wicks every 2 or three days.

Susan beats me every time...

Look into DDAs... Disposable Dripping Atomizers
Kinda looks like the old school 510 atty for cig-a-likes, and if you get the bridged one, you won't even have a wick... just vape it dry and switch flavors :D

*edit*
To steal from gandymarsh, this is the ones I was talking about...

I was going to lead you to "drip-drip-drip" but Sue beat me to it.

You need to understand that dripping is only the method that liquid is added. You drip the liquid directly into the atomizer instead of relying on a tank or cartridge. Also understand that dripping was one of the first ways to vape, so dripping existed long before rebuildable atomizers changing wicks or any of that stuff.

This is how I use to set up my old drippers

I think the best way to drip is with a RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) and a good variable voltage and wattage device that will allow lower resistance coils. The newer regulated mods allow lower resistance vaping like the ipv2 50 watt. It will allow a sub ohm down to .2. You will want to get your RDA and your kanthal wire. Different people perfer different gauges but my favorite and most used gauge of kanthal wire is 28 gauge. You will need your wicking media, I use cotton. You will want a ohm reader so you know the resistance of the coil or coils you will be using . And you will need a basic understanding of ohms law. You will want to know your batteries limitations. Each limitations are different for different batteries. Use Ohm's Law Formula To Insure You are not pushing your battery past its limitations with your build. Their are several tutorial videos on you tube to tell you how to build on different drippers. A example would be if your dripper was say a patriot dripper, you would look up how to build on the Patriot dripper. Until you know your builds this can be a big help when first building your devices. Always build smart not past the limitations of your battwry, always check your ohms so you can insure that .be safe. Once you have your dripper built and wicked you drip onto the cotton and vape. You continue to drip on the cotton and simply put enjoy. I hope this explanation helps you out a bit and helps you understand your basic dripping needs. Best wishes

to ecf xxxSapphir3xxx. So glad you are here. I fell in love with dripping when I first started out with the igo-l's. Only natural that I would end up using a reo grand because they are in fact the "ultimate dripper". So many good things out there and I wish you luck at find what makes you the happiest. That's sort of what vaping is all about. Happy dripping to you. :)

How does the drip shield help? do you have to have one or can I directly connect a drip tip to a 510 atty?

There is a lot to dripping than just dripping. There are a ton of drippers, a variety of wire, and an almost infinite type of coils. Then there is the mod, battery, ohm, wick, juice, etc, etc, etc.

Enjoy yourself by watching youtube videos on how to wrap coils. Learn about the tools you need to get, how and why to use those tools. Watch reviews of different products, original and clones. You will be building a mass of knowledge that will save you from making costly mistakes. Don't be in hurry. Watch a ton of reviews and the next thing you know, you will have acquired a vast amount of knowledge regarding, batteries, kicks, mec mods, regulated devices, hybrids, drippers, silica, organic cotton, Japanese organic cotton, hemp, ss mesh, ss rope, and again, etc. etc etc.

Now after you sorted through all the jungle of opinions, you can make an informed decision on what will suit your needs and desires, the buy what is right for you, rather amassing a ton of hardware that sits in the drawer.

Good luck and above all, be safe and have fun...life is too short not to smile.
