metal will not crack when u drop it.. glass are prettier but, well, it's glass!

I don't think the glass one breaks easily,they are make from pyrex but of course no one ask you to stomp on it.

I believe it's just borosilicate glass. Pyrex is the brand and trademark for a particular type of borosilicate glass.

for the same mass, size and build with regular glass, borosilicate is more shatter resistant.

Personally.... any tip that serves its purpose is a good tip

Either acrylic or glass works well for me. Strictly no metal ones
