driptip mod

I know mods should be in the mod forums, but since i am new to vaping and a new member, i thought this would be the right place to post this.

Yesterday i was driving home from work, vaping away as usual, and my cart's tip came off. as soon as that happened i had a great idea to make a driptip out of this cart. The cart that i used came with me ego kit, which is the same one that the 510 attys use, the pin draw carts.

All you have to do is take the the top off the cart, where you see the pinhole, use a needle or paper clip, you will hear a pop sound, after you take that off, you need to drill through two parts of plastic, the first is right under your pinhole cap, will look like another pinhole, and under that is a flat square of plastic. Try to get the drill bit i little hot before you drill through the plastic, will help with the ease of drilling.

It may not be clean like a store bought driptip, but it will do the trick.

Good advice. Wrapping the cart in several layers of masking tape and holding it with a pair of pliers will help steady it and avoid cracking.

I am not associated with the vendor, but I just ordered some metal drip tips from GoodProphets.com for .99 each. I ordered 10 of the ones I needed and the shipping was only $3 including a case I ordered. Took about 2 weeks to get them, but the metal are good quality and seem like they should wash and reuse for quite awhile.

My first driptip came in from thevaporroom.net let me tell you that it was the dirtiest thing ever.

Fresh from the plastic packaging it had metal flakes and crap seeping into my liquid, this is a brand new atomizer, the taste was hellish and gave me a headache.

In clear eliquid turned a nasty color from the contamination in the t-tip.

this was the shorty t-tip- avoid these and go with super-tmanufacturing instead to be safe.
