First, thanks again all you enablers. Day 4 with REO now...can't imagine using any other device. My REO/RM2 duo is what I've been missing since the first drag I took off a cig 9 years ago. I'm officially done - this is perfection.

The only--ONLY--thing I'm not 200% content with is the drip tip. it wobbles. I actually just stuck the EhPro KFL+ drip tip on it. it still wobbles, but, I like it better - it looks cooler than the plastic. however I'd prefer no wobble. any tips on how to stop the wobble, or on a good non-wobbly drip tip for the RM2?

nice I may try the PT2 one since I've got a few of those and i may order a nice looking stainless steel one soon from RTD or something :) heck i've even thought about glass but i'd break it LOL

another question...it has been recommended to me that i drill out my RM2 air hole to 1/16. what are your thoughts people? should i do it? how hard is it to NOT screw it up? i've never drilled anything inmy life LOL. was told they did it by hand without a drill though

You can try different things like lifting the coil up a little bit if you feel like you're not getting enough air. I think the main problem when first using an RM2 is flooding and then if feels like you're not getting enough air. Once you get used to the REO and squonking, you will get a rhythm. I had used a REO for almost 3 years before I got an RM2 and it took me about 2 weeks of experimenting with coils, coil height, wicks, etc. I ended up not changing the air hole.

Good advice to wait on opening up the air hole on the RM2. Once it's done, there's no undoing it. However, if you DO decide to, you can easily do it yourself. I got a Bead Reamer from Michaels (but I've seen them at Walmart and Hobby Lobby as well) and just reamed the air hole out. You can do it a little at a time and test vape it along the way. A Bead Reamer is just a long, skinny, round file, found wherever they have bead crafting supplies.

my main problem is deciding what kind of coil to build. parallel was recommended but i don't want to try that yet. what diameter is recommended? my current is 1.3 ohm, 9 wraps or so around a 5/64 drill but, 28ga kanthal. is bigger diameter more vapor and flavor? i may lower my ohms to .9 - 1.1 next build (momentarily)

I like a 1/16 but spaced wraps instead of touching, I think I get more flavor with the spaced coil. But this truly a YMMV part of vaping. The beauty of the Reo and RM2 is change a coil in a few minutes, so give them all a try.

So many drip tips out there. For me, I find the wide (Large) Bore drip tips works well especially if the airhole is a bit too tight. The Delrin wide bore drip tips are cooler to the lips than the stainless steel drip tips. :vapor:
