Definitely give them a bath when you first get them - no telling where they've been prior to being in your possession.

I soak them in alcohol (vodka) for half an hour and then boil them for 15 minutes. I generally don't fuss about that after I've given them the initial cleaning unless I've had a cold, and then I repeat the procedure for any I've used during that time.

Well. I think you guy must take this very seriously.
Bacteria problems are must be taken to consideration. Although you are the only one vaping with your driptips. However, bacteria lives every where. I use the anti Bacterial vipes.

I think you take it way too seriously.

Do you sterilize your dishes? You eat off them every day. How about the handle on your toilet? Did you ever wonder what kinds of strange bacteria can grow on a car door handle that's grabbed by grimy hands and left out in the weather 365 days a year?

Pathogens are a concern, but you've got to keep some perspective here. Sterilizing a drip tip is fine if you're an germaphobe, but it really isn't going to make much if any difference in regards to you catching something. After all, unless you're sharing your drip tips to other people then the only thing contaminating it are pathogens you already have in your body.
