Well, my suggestion was for dipping - not dripping. The half a second it takes to locate the fixed position of the 5ml bottle, before dipping the tip of the atty into it, hardly qualifies as a major breach of road safety. In terms of distractions, it would be far more dangerous popping in a CD or lighting up an analogue.
1) Get an exposed atty ecig (401/2 recommended)
2) Fill up a 5ml bottle with your best driving juice - do not put dropper back on bottle
3) Place bottle - without lid - in easy reach where it wont fall over (near gear lever/dash?)
4) When driving... Loosen cart, remove cart by holding in teeth.
5) With one hand, dip exposed atty in top of juice bottle.
6) Slide back onto cart in mouth...
7) Vape away.
You don't think you're distracted?
Even if your eyes are on the road (doubt it - you have to find the juice bottle), your mind is a million miles away. Not only is your mind not on the road, but you only have one hand on the wheel, while the other hand is trying to perform a delicate task.
People on cell phones have their eyes on the road, too. Doesn't stop them from hitting stuff.
Nor does it stop smokers, who can't wait for a red light before digging around for their lighter.
We forget sometimes that when we multi-task, our ability to do each task accurately decreases.
If you're writing an email and dripping, that doesn't really matter. No one is going to die if you get distracted, and make a mistake.
But if you're driving a giant hunk of metal?
In terms of your level of distraction while doing this, it's probably very similar to texting.
Do you have any idea how many people get killed every year because of such levels of distractedness?
