Dropped my 18650 Battery

OMG I was changing my battery when I unintentionally dropped it. It's still in pretty good shape but there's a small dent on the plastic cover at the bottom.

Can I still use it? I'm afraid that the battery might malfunction and goes boom on me. Or should I just toss that battery away and order a new one?

Under the plastic shrink tubing cover is the metal battery casing... that's what you've dented.

Toss it. batteries are cheap (and you might consider owning a few more than one), peace of mind... a bit more costly. ;-)

Alright I will do just that. Yes I actually bought two of them so now I don't have to go out and buy but I will get new ones soon.

I dropped one that has a small ding on the bottom, Takes a charge, holds a charge and works just fine.

Oh. Okay I'll give it a try and see if it still works. But if that battery starts doing weird things it's going directly into the trashcan.
