Dropped my Grand

I dropped mine the other day, too. I was lying on the beach enjoying a tasty beverage, and knocked my Grand off the table into the sand. A quick rinse and a new chunk of wick in the Chalice and I was back in business. ;-)
That sucks guys! I feel your pain and then some. I was not as fortunate as either of you: mine fell yesterday while trying to switch hands with my go cup of latte while walking in the park with my kids. Fell (sort of hit and slid) unfettered onto the concrete walk as did my latte. Gouged the entire side of my two week or so old beloved anodized red grand - as seen in the above.
Coffee splashed over me and it. Concrete also must have hit the plastic DT, cause it too is gouged.
Took it right home (kids, pack it up - it's time to go) washed and it was good as new. Except that the gouges are still rough in hand. I'm hoping they will wear down in time.
Now it is a blem. It wasn't before, no matter what the mod master said.

Any PV I own gets signs of use (visits Mr. Concrete). Nature of the beast, with me being a klutz

OUCH!!!!!!! This is why I'll only "let" DH use silver anodized for going on past two years. His hands are usually full and most things will take splats.
