H and welcome,I dropped my eleaf ijust s in snow 2 days ago, found it today, and I’m wandering if the atomizer is still alive?
That would indeed be more safe, but only if you pay attention to not building a fragmentation grenade (no tightly attached covers + air should be able to circulate).recharge it in a baking dish/ fireproof container for a while
Thanks @untar I actually tried turning it on earlier and it works fine, but I’ll leave it for a day to dry.Should be fine. Just make superduper sure to let it dry a day in a warm (not hot) and dry place so eventual water inside can evaporate before you use or charge it. Wouldn't be much since snow isn't liquid but better take an extra precaution than to put a miniature falcon 9 to your face.
After drying charge it in a fireproof place, if possible outside or in a garage, and after charging first test the device without vaping on it (away from your face with a filled atomizer screwed on).
That's a myth. The bad thing is it's counterproductive. Either drown it in isopropyl or dry it as fast as you can with dry air and a moderate amount of heat. Do not let it sit for a week in a damp climate.2: buy a 5lb bag of rice, dry off the mod and put it inside the rice bag, seal the bag and leave it in a cupboard for a week
Noted. Looks like I’m out of date on this oneThat's a myth. The bad thing is it's counterproductive. Either drown it in isopropyl or dry it as fast as you can with dry air and a moderate amount of heat. Do not let it sit for a week in a damp climate.
Don't Put Your Device in Rice. Here's Why...
In addition to that plain white rice isn't even that great at absorbing moisture from the air, instant rice and instant couscous are better and silica gel tops them all. Still wouldn't recommend the bag trick with any of those.
I had a tile superglued to a mod for a whileWelcome to the forum and I hope your mod survived. Next up for chip makers, find my mod app.
Welcome and glad you joined. Thanks @untar I actually tried turning it on earlier and it works fine, but I’ll leave it for a day to dry.
