The amount a drop is depends on how big the drop is. A drop from a bottle is different than a drop from a dropper which is different than a 1ml pipette which is different than a drop from a 3ml pipette which is different than a drop from an 18ga needle which is.....well you get the point. the best way to find out how many drops equals 1ml is to measure out 1ml of liquid then start dripping and count how many drops it takes to use up your 1ml of liquid and there is your answer. (you can also just drip into a measuring device and count till you get to 1ml...same thing.) hope this helps!

I suggest just getting a nice assortment of syringes, I have them going from 3ml all the way to 25ml. i used to try the drops but even the same bottles will vary depending on the thickness or temp of the different liquids, now 1.5 ml is exactly 1.5 ml. and every time i mix something its exactly like it was last time i mixed it.
