Because I am suffering from vape tongue or 'the vaping blues' I drove about 50 miles to a B&M shop that carried a lot of things I wanted to try. They carry Aiv, Five Pawns, Halo, Cyclops, Liqua, EC Blend and Mister E liquid. WOW!
5 Pawns-Gambit-totally unimpressed
White Rabbit-AIV-mild but good-I would buy it but have many that taste close including Fifteen Foot Falls
Cyclops-Poseidon-good but not good enough that I would pay the price
Halo-Tiki juice and Tribeca-Tiki was great-Tribeca..jut not a real tobacco fan-I will buy Tiki Juice -really liked it and throat hit was awesome.
EC Blend-Dragons Blood and Dragons Crown-liked both-actually loved Dragons Crown
Mister E Liquid- liked several and the price is right.
Liqua-Green Apple and Tiramasui-hated this, like Green Apple ok.
The Mad Alchemist-tried a few-loved Eye of Newt and bought it.

I really felt like I would find something that took my breath away (like when I first started vaping) but I did not. I did learn that the really expensive juices are not that great. Glad I found this out before I sent away for anymore. Came home with just the Eye of Newt to my mega stash of all the things I was/am bored with.

I recently received a sample of AiV White Rabbit. It tasted like nothing to me. Literally...just tasted like plain air. So I put it away. Then I was told that it needs to steep for at least 1 month. Apparently after 1 month it's amazing or something. Not sure.

I haven't been disappointed by AiV so far. I mean, not all her juices fit my palette, but I can even appreciate those. Right now I'm vaping a sample of Zombie Apocalypse that I am quite enjoying. My first strawberry juice. Yummy. Not sure I will actually buy me a bottle, but it's nice for a novelty vape.

Haven't tried Five Pawns, although intrigued.

What does Eye of Newt taste like?

I'm jealous, the stores here all just carry their own juices and nothing from any other vendor. I'd love to be able to try out some of those without having to buy the whole bottle. I have Cyclops Poseidon too, I like it-it's fresh tasting but it didn't bowl me over either though. I got mine when they had a 1/2 off sale.
The Alice in Vapeland has to steep for a long long time for the most part. I have just recently been trying them out from some bottles I got a couple of months ago and now the flavors have come out. Some I like, others that I have heard raves about left me cold.

It took me 3 months to find many things that really impressed me, along the way there was a lot of frustration and experimenting with flavors/brands. For me I like clean tasting crisp flavors that aren't chemical tasting. Lately I've been really impressed with Free State Vapor, Nirvana Vapor (sale right now-40% off with code joexmas), Dripeez, and Grizzly Vapes (all need to be steeped to be at their best, especially Nirvana. Grizzly vapes comes pre-steeped). I haven't read anyone on here not liking grizzly vapes now that i think of it, and there are a lot of devotees. A comment on the thread by one of the users made me realize this is probably a good juice for people who can't find what they like, I managed to hit on it at a time when I was having a hard time liking anything too.

It taste like a lime explosion-something else aside from lime in it but I am not sure-maybe whipped cream? It had the best throat hit in the store.

I'm not the best one to ask really, I've never completely understood what they mean by throat hit. To me I like VG because there is a full smooth creamy mouth feel to it that is really satisfying to me, and velvety plumes of vapor!

TH is a "kick" at the back of the throat on inhale. It's a tingling, kind of, or pressure...or something. I know it when I feel it.

Glad you got to experience this, it's fun, huh? Going to a vapor lounge is a pretty cool experience, where you can interact with other people and try things - sadly the only place local to me that carries 5 Pawns won't do samples - but at $27 a bottle, can't blame them.

TH is a "kick" at the back of the throat on inhale. It's a tingling, kind of, or pressure...or something. I know it when I feel it.

I've read that is it a 'thump' at the back of the throat, or a slight irritation. I have read that it is increased by PG, by higher nic levels, and by certain flavors. I have had nic levels as high as 24mg and had high PG juice (which makes a scratchy feel in my mouth and nose that I really don't like). Once in a great while I vape a menthol, just plain menthol, and i think then I have experienced that, the TH.
But I guess I'm weird because it's something that I generally don't really notice or pay much attention to, the throat hit that is....idk I must be weird! Or I guess maybe for me it isn't important so I don't notice it...

Really, they sell 5 Pawns but don't let people try them? That just astounds me. We have a B&M that carries this brand. I tried them and didn't like any of their flavors.

I didn't see eye of newt in the store today (did the same thing, road tripped down to Nashville for some kanthal and some new flavors). They did have a lot of Mad Alchemist juices though. I picked up some Fairy Dust Elixir after trying it in the store. I'll be sure to grab some Eye of Newt next time.

I asked lasttango who is a huge fan and he said "I think the throat hit is killer… and I typically vape strong menthol - This juice has presence… big thick clouds…. full mouth feel (whatever I mean by that) and it whacks my throat nicely… not in a painful way, but kind of like a cigarette used to."

I went to a local shop today to try 5 pawns. I liked them but was not impressed either...at least not enough to fork out $27.50. I tried Mad Alchemist and ended up buying Potion of Spring Blossoms and Snow White's Demise. These juices are sooo good. I tried some others and was very impressed with them all. I will definitely be buying more soon.

Fairy Dust Elixir is next on my list. It was very good.
